Arijit Singh is set to become the first Indian artist to headline a UK stadium.
The 38-year-old singer from West Bengal will perform at London’s Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on September 5, 2025.
Arijit will headline the N17 stage, meaning he will perform in front of 45,000 fans.
The Tottenham Hotspur Stadium concert will be Arijit’s only European date in 2025.
It follows his sold-out concert at London’s O2 Arena in August 2024, which featured a surprise duet with Ed Sheeran. Tickets sold out within an hour.
Arijit has also confirmed that he will feature on Ed Sheeran’s upcoming album Play, which will have Indian influences.
Speaking about the upcoming concert, Arijit Singh said:
“I am very excited to return to London once again.
“I’m just an ordinary person who happens to sing, and I’m incredibly humbled that I have the opportunity to share my songs and perform in London again.
“If that means I make history, then I will be very blessed.
“It makes me happy when the world sings my songs with me and my London fans are the absolute best!”
Arijit Singh is currently the most followed artist in the world on Spotify, with 140 million followers.
He is the first non-English language singer to top the platform’s global ranking, overtaking Ed Sheeran, Taylor Swift and Ariana Grande.
Known for hits such as ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’, ‘Channa Mereya’, ‘Gerua’ and ‘Kabira’, Arijit has collaborated with Indian music icons AR Rahman, Amit Trivedi and Mithoon.
He made his Bollywood debut in 2011 with ‘Phir Mohabbat’ from Murder 2. His breakthrough came with the 2013 hit ‘Tum Hi Ho’ from Aashiqui 2, which catapulted him to stardom.
He has since contributed to the soundtracks of films including Jawaani Deewani, Ram Leela, 2 States, Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania, Fitoor, and Hamari Adhuri Kahaani.
Over his career, Arijit Singh has received two National Film Awards and seven Filmfare Awards.
He is widely regarded as one of the most versatile and successful singers in Indian music history.
Tickets for Singh’s London concert go on general sale at midday on June 6 via Ticketmaster.
An artist pre-sale opens at midday on June 3, with early access available through Live Nation and O2 Priority from June 4.
The concert takes place on September 5.
