Punjabi superstar Diljit Dosanjh took to his social media platforms to announce his upcoming EP.

The EP has been named Drive Thru.

On the occasion of his birthday, the Punjabi singer took to Instagram and shared the news with his 12.4 million followers.

Diljit’s Drive Thru EP will join his discography of popular albums including G.O.A.T, Roar and Back 2 Basics.

Alongside the title of the EP, Diljit also hinted at the tracklist in a quirky way.

Diljit used food emojis to tease the names of the songs that will feature on the Drive Thru EP.

According to the emojis, the names of his upcoming songs relate to a ‘peach’, ‘noodles’, ‘ice cream’, ‘chilli’ and ‘lemon’.

Sung by Diljit Dosanjh, the Drive Thru EP includes music by producer Intense and lyrics by Raj Ranjodh and Chani Nattan.

Diljit’s recently released track ‘Unforgettable’, produced by Intense, is also expected to feature on the upcoming EP.

The artwork of the EP, which has a similar vibe to Diljit’s MoonChild Era album, was designed by Abhidyu.

Diljit Dosanjh revealed the news of his upcoming EP through social media with two pictures.

In an Instagram caption, Diljit wrote “DRIVE THRU Brand New EP” followed by a CD emoji.

Fans of the singer couldn’t help but share their excitement in the comments section.

One user wrote: “Wow, another blast. I can’t wait!”

Another added: “Omg, what a birthday surprise!”

A third commented: “MoonChild was full of hits so I’ve got high expectations.”

The release date of the Drive Thru EP is yet to be disclosed.

In other news, Diljit Dosanjh is currently on holiday in Hawaii after promotions for his latest film Honsla Rakh, which was released in October 2021.

The Punjabi singer and actor will next be seen in Shikra as well as Jodi in which he will share the screen with Nimrat Khaira.

The shooting for Shikra is yet to commence whilst Jodi’s release date is yet to be revealed.

Meanwhile, both fans and celebrities wished the singer on his 38th birthday.

Punjabi stars such as Ammy Virk and Neeru Bajwa took to social media to wish the singer.

Fellow Punjabi singer and actor Ammy Virk shared a picture of Diljit on his Instagram Story and extended his wishes.

Alongside the picture, Ammy wrote: “Happy birthday. Wishing you lots of happiness, love you brother.”

Yash Raj Films and Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions also extended a birthday wish to the star.
