Filmmaker Rohit Shetty along with Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh launched the song ‘Current Laga Re’ from Cirkus on December 8, 2022.
During the song launch, Ranveer and Deepika were seen grooving to the song.
The couple, one of the most loved in Bollywood, also exchanged kisses.
Both kissed each other’s cheeks and the paparazzi instantly captured the moment.
Ranveer also posed like Shah Rukh Khan for Deepika Padukone.
In the pictures, Deepika Padukone is seen dressed in an all-pink attire. She wore a hot pink coloured oversized blazer with the same-coloured trousers.
She tied her hair in a high ponytail and wore shiny pink coloured pumps.
The Chennai Express actress accessorised her attire with dangling long diamond earrings.
On the other hand, Ranveer Singh wore a black coloured t-shirt over black pants and a black stylish cap.
He completed his looks with black sunglasses and white shoes.
Director Rohit Shetty too kept it simple in all-black attire.
Meanwhile, Cirkus marks the reunion of Rohit and Deepika after almost a decade.
The director worked with the actress in Chennai Express, which was released in 2013.
The film also starred Shah Rukh Khan in the lead.
Cirkus is Ranveer Singh’s third collaborative project with Rohit Shetty.
The duo first worked together in the 2018 film Simmba and the 2021 film Sooryavanshi.
At the event, Rohit confirmed that he is collaborating with Deepika for Singham 3.
She will be seen playing the female cop opposite Ajay Devgn.
Rohit also said that they will start shooting in 2023.
He said: “We are making Singham next. Everyone kept asking me who is the lady cop in my universe.
“So today, let me confirm that Deepika Padukone will be the lady Singham, the lady cop in Singham 3. We start shooting next year.”
With the announcement, fans of Deepika are elated. It will mark her first collaboration with Ajay Devgn.
Cirkus features Ranveer Singh in a double role and it takes place in the 1960s.
The film is jointly produced by Rohit Shetty Picturez, Reliance Entertainment, and T-Series.
Further, the music of Cirkus is composed by Devi Sri Prasad, Badshah, and Lijo George-DJ Chetas.
Meanwhile, Deepika Padukone will next be seen in Pathaan with Shah Rukh Khan and John Abraham.
The film is slated to release on January 25, 2023.
She also has Project K with Prabhas, Fighter with Hrithik Roshan, and The Intern remake with Amitabh Bachchan.
Ranveer’s upcoming projects include Karan Johar’s directorial Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani.
