After launching her production house, Deepika Padukone is now venturing into beauty products.
The actress is all set to launch her skincare line.
Recently, the actress graced the cover of Allure magazine and shared her plans to venture into skincare.
Deepika will soon launch five skincare products including a cleanser, toner, moisturiser, eye cream, and SPF.
The 36-year-old actress, who has been thinking about her legacy, want to be remembered for what she will leave behind – a lifestyle brand centred on self-care and ritual.
She told Allure that these products will “marry what we call a global ingredient with an Indian ingredient and bring the best of both together.”
Deepika added: “I wanted the products to reflect my journey and my experience.
“I’ve led this life of being, how do I say this?, extremely rooted, but at the same time I’ve also had a lot of exposure to the rest of the world.
“I think the line and the collection is an extension of that.”
Taking to her Instagram handle, Deepika shared a series of pictures from her photoshoot for Allure.

In the photoshoot pictures, the Bollywood actress can be seen in shimmery attires.
Sharing the pictures, Deepika wrote: “From being made to feel like a person of colour for as long as I can remember to making it to the cover of one of the world’s most prominent beauty magazines, it has been an arduous and uphill journey of learning, unlearning, growth and evolution.
“Thank you @allure for your faith, generosity and kind words.”
Deepika ventured into the world of production with the 2020 film Chhapaak, which was released under the banner of her own Ka Productions, which she established in 2018.
On donning the producer’s hat, the actress shared: “I think it gives me an opportunity to change a lot of things that I’ve seen go amiss as an actor.
“Things are just brushed under the carpet.”
“I’m that person who will always question why things are being done a certain way, even if they’d been done the same way for many, many years.”
Meanwhile, on the work front, Deepika Padukone was last seen in Shakun Batra’s Gehraiyaan, and her performance in the film was praised by critics.
The actress is currently in Spain shooting for her upcoming film Pathaan with Shah Rukh Khan and John Abraham.
Deepika will also be seen in Project K with Prabhas, and in The Intern remake with Amitabh Bachchan.
The actress will also be seen in Fighter opposite Hrithik Roshan.
The film will hit cinemas in September 2023.
