Bollywood singer Kanika Kapoor has been tested positive once again for the Coronavirus as celebrities give their reaction on the matter.
The Coronavirus is fast spreading across the world as it claims more lives and infects many people.
Kanika returned from London to Lucknow where she attended parties at the Taj Hotel and Mumbai, hosted a party and visited her maternal uncle.
However, Kanika denied attending parties and even hosting one. She stated that she was screened at the airport and tested negative for the Coronavirus.
Kanika further added that she after having the flu for four days, she had the test and it was confirmed she tested positive for the virus.
Since then she has remained in self-isolation before she was moved to the hospital in Lucknow.
On Monday, March 23, 2020, Kanika was tested once again for Coronavirus and the test was again positive.
Kanika Kapoor also faces a legal FIR for negligence while being infected with COVID-19.
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath decided to register an FIR against the star under Section 269 of the Indian Penal Code.
A second complaint has also been filed at the Hazratganj Police Station and Gomti Police Station in Lucknow.
Another case was filed against the singer at the Bihar court.
As a result of Kanika Kapoor as the first Bollywood celebrity to have tested positive for the Coronavirus, many celebrities have voiced their opinions.
Singer Sona Mohapatra is regularly seen posting her opinions on social media concerning social and political issues.
In this instance, Mohapatra voiced her concern regarding the Coronavirus pandemic in India. She said:
“The Coronavirus will explode because India is full of irresponsible idiots who ask everything from the government but do nothing in return.”
She further added by criticising Kanika Kapoor. She said:
“Case in point, #KanikaKapoor hid her travel history after landing in #India (goddess knows how), attending events in Lucknow, Mumbai, went partying while staying in a 5 (star hotel) & has the virus! So all of U giving me gyan about how ‘simplistic’ PM’s speech was, was it really? #WeThePeople.”

Another celebrity who went on to condemn Kanika Kapoor for her negligence was Bollywood producer Ashok Pandit. He tweeted:
“Shame on U @TheKanikakapoor for being irresponsible by hiding ur details from the authorities, after U returned from #London & joining a party at a 5 star hotel, coming into contact with nearly 100 ppl. Now that U hv tested #CoronaVirus +ve, U hv put others’ life also in danger.”

According to a report by Spotboye, Bappi Lahiri stated how it was the negligence of the London authorities. He said:
“If she was in London, she should not have come to India yet. This is their fault and irresponsible attitude. I adore Lord Ganesha a lot. I pray that they get well soon.”
