The Lokmat Most Stylish Awards bought an array of Bollywood stars to the red carpet on Wednesday, December 18, 2019.
The awards took place at the Leela Hotel in Mumbai and saw celebrities looking their best.
The line-up included stars like Deepika Padukone, Taapsee Pannu, Malaika Arora and many more.
Some chose to sashay in ethnic ensembles while others chose to don elegant gowns.
We explore the aesthetic looks of some of the Bollywood stars who bought the glitz and glamour during the awards night.
Deepika Padukone
Bollywood beauty, Deepika Padukone added glamour to the Lokmat Most Stylish Awards.
She wore a stunning red floral saree by designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee for the event accompanied by a plunging neckline blouse.
Deepika continued with the floral theme with an elegant sleeked back low bun accessorised with roses.
She kept jewellery to a minimum with a pair of beautiful droplet earrings. For her makeup, Deepika opted for a flush of red on the eyelids and a red lip to compliment her ensemble.
There is no denying that Deepika Padukone reigned supreme as the flower queen.
Kriti Sanon
Here we have another floral beauty. Kriti Sanon graced the awards in an alluring three-piece ensemble by Shehla Khan.
Kriti donned a matching floral cropped top and lehenga. The red flowers against the multi-coloured backdrop caught everyone’s attention.
The lehenga was accompanied by a red long-length sheer jacket complimenting the red flower design.
Kriti styled her outfit with a diamond necklace complete with red pearls. For her hair, the actress had it styled in glamorous waves.
Keeping in theme with the red, Kriti chose to adorn a vibrant red lip with soft eye makeup.
Malaika Arora
Bollywood fashionista, Malaika Arora is always on top of her fashion game. For the Lokmat Most Stylish Awards, Malaika walked the red carpet in a striking white and gold outfit.
The outfit consisted of two elements – the white gown and embellished jacket.
The white gown included a ruffled skirt, which added volume and dimension to the piece.
To amp up the glamour, the jacket was embellished with intricate gold detailing. The high-collar design enhanced the sartorial appeal of the ensemble.
There was a little pop of colour to her outfit, with an adorable red flower pattern on the chest of the jacket.
Malaika completed the look with loose waves, smoky brown eyeshadow and a nude lip.
Malaika Arora mixed business and fashion for the award night and certainly impressed her fans.
Manushi Chhillar
It was certainly a fashion win for Manushi Chhillar at the Lokmat Most Stylish Awards.
Manushi posed for the cameras on the red carpet in an enticing cream coloured lehenga.
The skirt was crafted with an alluring criss-cross pattern, fitted top and a voluminous bottom.
To compliment the detailing in the skirt, the blouse matched the pattern. The blouse also included a plunging v-shaped neckline.
Yet it was the elevated shoulder design that was the focal point of the ensemble.
Manushi accessorised her outfit with statement gold-toned earrings, a delicate bracelet and rings.
For her makeup and hair, she opted for dewy skin, voluminous lashes, a nude lip and sleeked back hair.
Nushrat Bharucha
Actress Nushrat Bharucha brought the sparkle to the award night in a creation by designer Manish Malhotra.
The pastel pink saree was embellished with sequins, which shone when the light hit. The saree was partnered with a velvet blouse designed with a v-shaped neckline.
Nushrat kept accessories to a minimum with stud earrings and a diamond ring.
For her makeup, the actress went for a matching pink-toned eyeshadow, pink cheeks and a nude pink lip.
Nushrat Bharuch looked fabulous as she graced the red carpet, bringing back retro vibes.
Taapsee Pannu
Taapsee Pannu also chimed in on the saree game in a Falguni and Shame peacock item.
The saree consists of a sheer design with gold-toned embellishment throughout. The blouse includes a choker-style neck design and sheer bouffant sleeves.
For her hair, Taapsee opted for a low bun hairdo allowing for the attention to fall primarily on her ensemble.
Taapsee paired her saree with striking droplet earrings and rings. Her makeup was looking dewy and fresh with glossy lips.
Despite, Taapsee Pannu’s Lockmat Most Stylish Awards look not striking a chord with everyone, she looked beautiful.
Yami Gautam
Yami Gautam attended the awards in a classic saree avatar. The actress looked incredible in this ensemble design that featured a beige saree paired with a black choli (blouse).
The delicate gold thread work embroidery was scattered across the saree, while the border design matched the choli border.
To accessorise the look, Yami chose a pair of statement ghumkas (earrings) and a large diamond ring with a black diamond.
Yami kept her makeup look simple with black kohl eyes, contoured cheekbones and a pink lip.
The actress proved how sometimes it is the simple ensembles that take over the red carpet.
Shivaleeka Oberoi
Shivaleeka Oberoi brought drama to the award night with her eye-catching outfit. The actress donned a fabulous pink two-piece.
The larger than life skirt was adorned with mirror work embellishment, which dazzled throughout the light.
Accompanying the skirt was a ruffle pink blouse, adding dimension with a plunging neckline.
To match the sparkle from the mirror work, Shivaleeka accessorised the look with a stunning diamond necklace and rings.
She finished the look with soft curls flowing down her back and pink-toned makeup.
Although her ensemble may appear loud to many, confidence is required to pull off this style. Shivaleeka executed this perfectly.
Amyra Dastur
Once again, we have another saree number. Amyra Dastur struck a pose on the red carpet in a simple yet elegant saree.
The saree featured petal designs scattered throughout with a modest border. The sheer saree perfectly accentuated Amyra’s slender figure.
To match the saree, the plain choli complimented the embellishment.
Amyra styled the look with diamond studs, a pearl choker necklace, glamorous waves and bronze-toned makeup.
Amyra Dastur looked simple, stunning and sexy for the Lokmot Most Stylish Awards.
