Best Dressed Women
Emma Stone
First of all, Emma Stone dazzled on the Oscars red carpet in a Givenchy Haute Couture fringed gown. The sequin detailing and ombre tassels ooze true Hollywood glamour.
Her dress combined with her big red hair and swept wavy curls are reminiscent of the 1920s.
The 28-year-old won the award for ‘Best Actress’ for her role in La La Land, directed and written by Damien Chazelle.
Emma gracefully accepted the honour saying:
“I realise a moment like this is a huge confluence of luck and opportunity and so I want to thank Damien Chazelle for a project that was so special and once in a lifetime. I am so grateful to be involved in this film.”
Priyanka Chopra
Bollywood beauty Priyanka Chopra stunned on this year’s Oscars red carpet in a strapless Ralph and Russo gown.
The gorgeous white dress was as glamorous as Hollywood with a unique horizontal neckline. The patterned dress stood out from the crowd and was paired with silver bangles and dangling earrings.
Kirsten Dunst
Hidden Figures star Kirsten Dunst graced the red carpet in a Dior strapless silk black evening gown.
The custom-made dress included a glamorous trail as she worked the red carpet like a pro. Her hair up-do showed off the neckline and silver choker.
Scarlett Johansson
Black Widow Scarlett Johansson arrived at the 89th Academy Awards in style. She wore a head-turning purple printed Alaia gown.
The Marvel heroine presented the award for ‘Best Original Song’ in her floor length dress. She added a statement belt to the sheer dress with matching pink lipstick.
Taraji Henson
Taraji Henson opted for a sultry Alberta Ferretti velvet gown for the Oscars. The heavy choker makes it a statement piece on the off-shoulder dress.
The dark-coloured dress featured a high slit and trail making it a real head-turner on the red carpet.
Best Dressed Men
Now onto the best-dressed men from the 89th Academy Awards red carpet, the Oscars were filled with many actors looking dapper for the auspicious occasion.
Dev Patel
British Asian actor Dev Patel looked exceptionally suave in his Burberry attire. The Lion star was nominated for ‘Best Supporting Actor’ award.
The slick looking actor brought his mother along to the awards. He told the media he wouldn’t bring anyone else as she took him to his very first audition.
Riz Ahmed
Riz Ahmed took dapper to a whole new level in a pristine blue suit.
The Ermenegildo Zegna Couture tux was a perfect fit for the Star Wars star, who posed with none other than Jackie Chan on the red carpet.
Needless to say, Ahmed was one of the best dressed men of the evening.
Ryan Gosling
La La Land actor Ryan Gosling is charming as ever in Gucci and 1970s-style shirt. Even though the Hollywood star lost out on the ‘Best Lead Actor’ award, he certainly wins the hearts of all women.
The stylish Ryan Gosling looked amazing next to the glamorous Emma Stone.
Sunny Pawar
Last but certainly not least, is the cutest thing to ever walk the Oscars red carpet. Sunny Pawar won everyone over with his charming smile. Dressed to the nines in a tux, we just love his colourful trainers.
Life changed for Sunny when he starred in tear-jerking movie Lion as Indian child Saroo. Having never acted before, the 8-year-old pulled off an amazing performance.
Hollywood has never looked so glamorous as actors and actresses wear jaw-dropping styles. We look forward to the next Oscars red carpet catwalk!
