The ITA Awards 2017 took place in Mumbai, witnessing a spectacular star-studded red carpet. Let’s look at the best dressed men and women of the night.

Some of the best-dressed stars

Adaa Khan looked utterly enchanting when she arrived at the red carpet.

The annual Indian Television Academy Awards (ITA Awards) 2017 took place on 5th November. Famous faces from Indian TV gathered to recognise the achievements of celebrated stars during the past year.

For its 17th year, the ceremony was held in Mumbai. The red carpet witnessed some of the biggest names in television descend in fantastic outfits.

While the women donned glamorous gowns, the men also wore smart and handsome suits. However, a select few stood out from the rest. By creating jaw-dropping looks, they certainly became our highlights from the event.

Let’s take a look then at some of the best dressed women and men of the night!

Best Dressed Women

Mouni Roy

To begin our list of the women, Mouni Roy impressed with this lavish gown. Created by the talented Manish Malhotra, this enchanting outfit hugged the starlet perfectly. Along the bodice, it contained an embroidery of cream leaves, spilling out onto the dress.

But as one looks towards the skirt’s bottom, the leaves change colour to a ruby red. A suitable look for the Autumn season. With a low V-neck line, the sleeveless dress gives fans a small glimpse of Mouni’s curves.

She keeps her hair sleek and straight, with a middle parting. While she wears little jewellery, with only rings decorating her fingers, Mouni keeps her makeup warm and vibrant. A creamy rose lip accompanied with dark eyeshadow and eyeliner.

Rashami Desai

Rashami Desai chose to wear a stunning, golden creation for the ITA Awards 2017. The starlet looks breath-taking in this dress, designed by Manali Jagtap. It contains shimmering fabric, which pools out into a flowing train and shows off Rashami’s gorgeous legs.

The one-sleeved dress fits the celebrity’s figure flawlessly. To match its metallic colours, she dons a pair of gold heels, as well as dazzling bracelets.

To add in vibrant splashes of colour, the star wears red nails along with a rosy lip. With her hair styled into luscious, raven locks, Rashami hails as one of our beautiful, best-dressed ladies.

Adaa Khan

Adaa Khan looked utterly enchanting when she arrived at the red carpet. For her outfit, she chose to wear Aliya Fashion House and we can see why. We love this white dress, decorated with cream, regal embellishments.

With a sweetheart neckline, this sleeveless dress is a fantastic princess look. Adaa complements it by donning chunky, silver rings on her fingers, along with sparkling earrings. She adds splashes of colour with her makeup; red lips, pink blush and luscious eyelashes.

She keeps her long, chestnut hair back into a low ponytail. Perhaps a daring choice for this red carpet look. But it keeps all the focus on her captivating gown.

However, if one takes a closer look at Adaa, it appears she opted away from shaving her underarms. While many may see it as female empowerment, it certainly could spark a divided opinion among fans.

Jennifer Winget

Jennifer wearing a dark blue dress

From a light colour scheme to more darker tones. Jennifer Winget takes our breath away with this intriguing ensemble. This one-sleeved dress presents a dark blue hue, decorated with multicoloured leaves. Shades of yellow, green and brown create Autumn vibes.

The outfit also contains a high leg slit, showing off Jennifer’s stunning pins. She also dons a pair of strappy, nude heels.

The starlet volumises her hair into loose curls. For makeup, she sticks with her dark tones by wearing plum lipstick and dark eyeshadow.

Roshni Sahota

Roshni wearing a green and gold sari

Roshni Sahota opts for ethnic fashion with this glamorous saree. We love its combination of colours; ideal for such a prestigious event.

With an emerald green top, she pairs this with a satin, gold skirt. She also wears a sheer dupatta, also golden in colour, embellished with dazzling floral designs. Roshni sticks to this wonderful ensemble by wearing green nails and holding a shimmering clutch bag.

She sweeps her dark hair to one side, cascading down her shoulder. Finishing off her look, Roshni dons a red lip accompanied by rosy blush and eyeliner, along with bejewelled earrings.

Ravi Dubey kicks off our list of the best dressed men with this smart suit. He wears a dark grey co-ord of blazer, trousers and waistcoat. The star matches this with a crisp, white shirt and long, black tie.

We love Ravi’s accessories in this red carpet look. Gold rings decorate his fingers as he poses for the camera. One can also spot a red belt, while a gold, satin handkerchief rests in his blazer pocket.

With his hair neatly styled and beard immaculately trimmed, the celebrity has created a flawless ensemble.

Actors Samridh Bawa and Sahil Uppal both looked dapper in their attire for the ITA Awards. First, let’s take a closer look at Samridh’s ensemble.

He wears a dark blue co-ord of suit and trousers, decorated with a smart pattern. The star matches this with a simple, white top as he buttons up his blazer. Samridh also dons a pair of white sneakers and glasses.

Meanwhile, Sahil looks incredibly smart with his own blue suit. Featuring a criss-cross pattern, he injects a splash of colour with a red tie and handkerchief.

With dark brown shoes and neatly styled hair to finish off the look, Sahil looks perfect for the red carpet.

Kunal Jaisingh

Kunal Jaisingh and Shrenu Parikh

Kunsal Jaisingh went for this unusual suit for the awards ceremony. Joined by his co-star Shrenu Parikh, who wore a jaw-droppingly stunning red gown, the pair appeared as the ultimate fashionistas.

Taking a closer look at Kunal’s outfit, we love his impeccable costume. Created by Anj Kreations, it alters from typical suits with a diagonal zip tying up the blazer.

He also dons a pair of stylish, black shoes. The actor also keeps his long hair loose, altogether creating a superb look ready for the red carpet.

Nakuul Mehta

Lastly, Nakuul Mehta also donned a fabulous outfit for the awards ceremony. However, he opted for this light, brown suit, instead of conventional black or dark blue.

The actor strikes an intriguing pose in this smart attire, finished with dark brown polka dots scattered across. He wears a crisp, white shirt underneath his waistcoat and a brown bow tie.

He adorns trendy, oversized glasses along with a gingham hankercheif inside his blazer pocket. A truly stylish look!

The ITA Awards 2017 witnessed outstanding looks from both the actors and actresses.

Judging by their red carpet outfits, it seems red, gold and dark blue were the trending colours for the Indian TV stars. Alongside shimmer and lots of sparkles.

With the event now ended, we look forward to seeing what the celebrities will wear next for future events.
