At the time the celebrities announced their engagement, Halsey said:
“I’m so grateful that as I took that first step kind of back into putting myself out into the dating pool or whatever — which I actually wasn’t really trying to do.
“It kind of just happened with him, but I’m so glad it was him.
“Because he’s the most gracious, compassionate, well-adjusted, loving person.
“I can’t imagine anyone being better to receive me in the state that I was in.

Avan Jogia gained fame for portraying Beck Oliver in the Nickelodeon series, Victorious, from 2010 to 2013.
His co-stars on the show included Victoria Justice, Ariana Grande, Elizabeth Gillies, and Daniella Monet.
He will soon be seen as Oliver in an erotic thriller series titled 56 Days.
