Athiya Shetty and KL Rahul’s wedding rumours are spreading like wildfire.
Though the couple themselves haven’t issued any confirmation, according to a recent report the celebrity wedding seems to be just around the corner.
Reportedly, the venue has also been confirmed.
Athiya and Rahul made their relationship public in 2021 and since then fans have been manifesting their wedding.
As per a report by Pinkvilla, the couple is soon going to tie the knot and the wedding will be a starry affair.
The report states that Athiya and Rahul have decided on Suniel Shetty’s home Jahaan in Khandala as their wedding venue, instead of any 5-star hotel in Mumbai.
The Khandala home, which was built 17 years ago, is very close to Suniel Shetty’s heart.
It is spread over a huge area and is a mix of earthy colours. The actor’s house stands amidst plush greenery while the interiors are also decorated with plants.
Besides, the date for the wedding will be fixed keeping in mind the cricketer’s work schedule.
Those who will be attending the nuptials will be informed soon to keep themselves free from the end of December to the first week of January.
Also, a famous organiser has visited Khandala to have an outlook of the place.
In August 2022, Suniel Shetty reacted to the wedding rumours of his daughter, Athiya Shetty.
While talking to Instant Bollywood, Suniel Shetty stated that the wedding will happen as soon as the couple will decide.
He said: “I think jaise hi bachhe decide karenge (the wedding will take place as soon as the kids decide).
“Rahul ke schedules hai. Abhi Asia Cup hai, World Cup hai, South African tour hai, Australia tour hai.
“Jab bachho ko break milega tab shaadi hogi. Ek din me shaadi nahi ho sakti na? (Rahul is busy with the Asia Cup, World, South African tour, and Australia tour. The wedding will take place only when the kids get a break).”
Earlier, the actor also stated how much he is fond of KL Rahul.
During a conversation with ETimes, he stated that he loves the cricketer.
The Bollywood actor said: “It is for them to decide what they want to do because times have changed.
“Beti aur beta dono hi responsible hai (My daughter and son are both responsible people).
“I would like them to take the decision. My blessings are always there for them.”
