"It looks like it came out of a Kinder surprise."
Amir Khan showed off a glitzy new watch that he had “gifted” himself but ended up being trolled.
The retired boxer posted a video of himself wearing the limited edition watch.
In the video, Amir says: “What’s up guys?
“So another piece right there worth $1.9 million.”
As he turned his wrist to show off the white strap, Amir continued:
“What are you saying, guys? What do you think? Enjoying life.”
He captioned the post: “Gifted myself another watch. Well deserved present.”
The watch is co-designed by Airbus Corporate Jets (ACJ) and Richard Mille.
It is inspired by journeys on an Airbus corporate jet. The watch face has been designed to represent the shape of an aircraft window.
In the comments section, netizens had a mixed response.
One said: “Fair play – entertained millions. Deserves it.”
Former boxer Tony Bellew posted applauding emojis.
However, many mocked the watch’s design.
One wrote: “I’m sure it’s pricey, it’s just also not the nicest-looking watch ever.”
Another said: “Looks like a $10 watch bro… sorry just honest.”
A third added: “It looks like it came out of a Kinder surprise.”
A user said: “Amir mate, what are you thinking?
“It probably cost a fortune and looks like it’s out of a lucky bag, come on mate, surely you can do better than that?”
One comment read: “You can’t buy class. That’s a revolting-looking watch.”

Others criticised Amir Khan for flaunting such an expensive watch on social media, especially because he was robbed of a watch at gunpoint in 2022.
One person warned: “Don’t go London. It’ll get robbed.”
Another said: “Well done Amir – now you’ve just advertised you wear expensive timepieces don’t go out in London!
“Your boxing skills and your surname won’t even protect you there.”
Amir Khan’s display of wealth came shortly after he revealed he would be selling his wedding venue just three months after opening.
The former world champion had invested millions into the Bolton venue and it opened after a string of delays.
In a now-deleted tweet, he wrote:
“I am looking to sell my wedding hall for £12.5 million.
“The property features four floors, including three dedicated wedding floors and a rooftop events terrace.
“Additionally, there is parking available at both the front and rear, accommodating up to 200 vehicles.”
