Amir Khan was ridiculed for an awkward video where he gifted Eminem a limited edition watch.

The pair were among a slew of celebrities in attendance for the massive showdown between Tyson Fury and Francis Ngannou in Saudi Arabia.

The day before the bout, a star-studded dinner was held.

Amir met with Eminem and it appeared the ex-boxer was excited to see the rapper.

Whilst Eminem was enjoying his food, Amir saw an opportunity to give the star the unique gift.

A video shows Amir putting his limited edition WBC Championship title-style watch around Eminem’s wrist.

But as Amir tries to wrap the watch around Eminem’s wrist, the rapper appears confused.

The video was posted on Instagram and despite the warm gesture, Amir found himself being mocked.

One user said: “Think Eminem feels like he’s being handcuffed.”

Another wrote: “Like he needs an expensive Watch… Sigh!!”

A third said: “Amir Khan you getting a little handsy with Eminem.”

One person stated that Eminem did not need Amir’s charity.

The user posted: “Eminem is worth more than you, he does not need your charity you sellout.”

This prompted Amir to hit back at the netizen, writing:

“Bro shut the f**k up.

“He’s a boxing fan and complimented the WBC watch only the fighters got gifted today. So I gave him mine. Move.”

Despite the altercation, others came forward to applaud Amir for his generosity and praised him for his big heart.

One fan said: “That is beautiful brother! Your heart is too big!”

Another commented: “This is class! Big up Bolton!”

A third added: “Did you give him your watch? Must have been awesome! I’m a big Eminem fan!”

Although Amir Khan has retired from boxing after his defeat by Kell Brook in 2022, the boxer has spoken about a possible return to the ring with Manny Pacquiao.

Amir stated that Manny had made contact and said that he wanted to meet up to talk.

Speaking about the talk, Amir said Manny initiated a fight and is considering it.

Amir said: “Now I am retired, but when I wanted the Pacquiao fight I didn’t get it, but now he wants to have a chat about it.

“If it is, it has to be a real fight. I mean, I can’t say too much. A lot has happened though, like meetings have taken place. There is a possibility, yeah.”
