Ziaul Faruq Apurba, Saidur Rahman Pavel, and Tasnia Farin sustained injuries while filming a scene for the upcoming web film How Sweet.

The incident occurred at Zinda Park, located on the outskirts of Dhaka.

The trio were filming a scooter scene when they reportedly lost control of the vehicle, leading to a fall.

While Apurba and Farin escaped with minor injuries, Pavel’s condition appeared more severe.

Reports indicated he sustained an arm injury that required a cast.

All three were taken to Evercare Hospital, where they received medical attention.

Director Kajal Arefin Ome confirmed the news on Facebook, sharing details about the accident.

He wrote: “Unfortunately, during the shooting of a scene for How Sweet, there was a scooter accident. Pavel, Tasnia Farin, and Apurba Bhai were slightly injured.”

Providing an update on their condition, Ome reassured fans:

“After arriving at the hospital, doctors confirmed that they are now completely fine.

“They remain under observation but are expected to recover quickly. Please keep us in your prayers.”

Photos shared by the director from the hospital showed Pavel smiling despite his injury, his arm in a cast.

Farin was also pictured lying in a hospital bed with a visible minor injury on her arm.

Apurba, fortunately, had no significant harm. The director praised the team for their dedication, even in the face of such challenges.

He shared: “Lying in a hospital bed, my artists are already thinking about how to complete the remaining scenes beautifully.”

Fans, initially alarmed by the news, expressed their heartfelt wishes for the actors’ speedy recovery.

Location manager Malu Dewan also confirmed the accident, describing the incident during the Zinda Park shoot as an unfortunate setback.

How Sweet marks a collaboration between Apurba and Farin under the direction of Kajal Arefin Ome.

The web film, produced by the OTT platform Bongo, was first announced in October 2024, with its release scheduled for Valentine’s Day 2025.

The production team remains optimistic, with the director emphasising the collective effort behind the project.

Despite the accident, Ome’s message read: “We are working hard to create something beautiful for the audience, and I’m grateful to my team for their trust and dedication.”

The actors are expected to recover soon, allowing filming to resume in time to meet its planned release date.

Fans eagerly await the final result, hoping the rest of the production proceeds smoothly.
