Aamir Khan and his son Junaid Khan are planning something surprising.
The father-son duo will make a surprise appearance on Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC).
This episode is set to air on the occasion of the host Amitabh Bachchan’s 82nd birthday.
In a clip posted to Instagram, Sony TV announced the news.
The short video saw Aamir and Junaid arriving on the set of KBC.
Aamir Khan faced the camera and said: “Amitji should not find out that we are on the show today.
“Don’t say anything, okay?”
Sony TV captioned the post: “There will be something special happening on the legendary actor’s birthday.”
The announcement elicited excited reactions from netizens.
One fan said: “Amitabh Bachchan with Aamir Khan will be great to watch!”
Another person commented: “They are shooting the episode today, so he wouldn’t know Aamir has arrived at the set.”
A third user posted a series of heart emojis to celebrate the news.

Aamir Khan has previously appeared on KBC several times.
His first appearance was in 2000 when he played for charity. A young Junaid was also in the audience.
Amitabh and Aamir appeared onscreen together in Thugs of Hindostan (2018).
It is currently the only film they have starred in together.
Despite the high expectations, Thugs of Hindostan was a box-office failure.
While many praised the performances of Amitabh and Aamir, criticism was levelled at the screenplay and direction.
Meanwhile, Junaid Khan recently made his acting debut in Netflix’s Maharaj (2024).
It was recently confirmed that Junaid would star with Khushi Kapoor in an untitled film directed by Advait Chandan.
Speaking about the influence his father has had on him, Junaid said:
“[Aamir] has been doing this for 40 years now, he has seen everything.
“There is a lot to learn from just how he conducts himself.
“Failures affect him, but he takes the time to process it and then move on to learning from it.”
“He will figure out what went wrong and proceed from there, so that’s his process, which is probably the best way to go about it.”
Aamir Khan was last seen in a cameo appearance in Salaam Venky (2022). He will next star in Sitaare Zameen Par.
He will also be producing Lahore 1947, which stars Sunny Deol, Preity Zinta, Shabana Azmi, and Karan Deol.
The KBC episode featuring Aamir Khan and Junaid Khan will air on Sony TV on October 11, 2024, at 9 pm.
