"this would've been your reaction as well."

Zeeshan Khan defended hitting Azma Fallah on Lock Upp, stating that anyone else in his place would have done the same.

Zeeshan was evicted from the show after hitting Azma in the eye with a broom after she made comments about his mother and his girlfriend Reyhna Pandit.

The TV actor and YouTuber was previously evicted from Bigg Boss OTT for a physical altercation with Pratik Sehajpal.

After his eviction from Lock Upp, Zeeshan apologised for his actions but laid some of the blame on Azma.

He has now defended his actions, stating that he tolerated a lot more than others.

Zeeshan Khan said: “If such bad things are said about your parents or your sister in front of you, that they are sleeping around to get you work.

“I am also a human being, I am not an angel that I would be perfect all the time, I am not a robot. I am a human, I make mistakes, and I apologised for them as well.

“I also completed my punishment, because I knew I was wrong.

“But it’s a simple thing, even if you were in my place, you would’ve listened to it 4-5 times, but on the 6th time, this would’ve been your reaction as well.

“I had been listening to it for three weeks. The people who don’t have faith in their games say such things.

“I didn’t fight for the game, I did it for my family, because wrong things were being said about my family.

“I am sorry for what I did, but it was a human reaction after tolerating all that for three weeks.

“You wouldn’t have been able to tolerate it even a single day, I did that for three weeks. Then my reaction came.”

Zeeshan went on to say that he would be willing to return to Lock Upp if he receives another chance.

“Of course, because it’s me who has the rights on that trophy. I only was going to win that trophy.”

Shortly after the incident, Karan Kundrra questioned Zeeshan over his actions and he said:

“It was three weeks of so much, continuously day and night saying ‘your girlfriend is sleeping around, your parents are dead’.

“It mentally affects you, it’s also a form of mental abuse.”

In a lengthy show of support, his girlfriend Reyhna wrote:

“He stood his ground and I will always stand by him. Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of peace.

“Whoever intentionally insults, and thereby gives provocation to any person, intending or knowing it to be likely that such provocation will cause him to break the public peace, or to commit any other offence, shall be punished with imprisonment of either description for a term which may extend to two years, or with fine, or with both.

“I am not encouraging his behaviour but he was poked many times and no stand was taken for him, why??? Why was he alone locked out? Why ??”
