"Why is no one beating the s**t out of these people"

Former television actress Zarnish Khan has stirred controversy after sharing a video on social media that she described as indecent and alarming.

The footage featured a group of young people dressed in green and white.

Some of them presented them in masculine styles and others in feminine ones, performing poses that Khan compared to transgender expressions.

Her reaction was sharp and angry, as she asked what was happening in Pakistan and why such acts were being tolerated publicly.

She questioned whether such performances were being justified as patriotism, adding that mixing sexuality with national celebrations was inappropriate.

The former actress deemed it “offensive” to society.

She also demanded to know why no action was being taken.

Zarnish Khan said: “What the hell is happening in Pakistan? Why is no one beating the s**t out of these people for openly spreading indecency? Yeh azaadi hai?

“Patriotism through sexuality? What kind of a mix is that? Forget the dressing for a second and see the gestures of these *****! WTH??”

The language used in her message, which included dismissive references and derogatory undertones, quickly sparked an online debate.

Supporters of her stance flooded her comments section, saying that such displays were against Islamic and cultural values in Pakistan.

Some users wrote that parents should focus on religious education to keep children guided throughout their lives and protect them.

Others called for police involvement, insisting that such people should not be allowed to roam freely in public dressed in that manner.

Some online commentators escalated their responses further, linking the viral video to apocalyptic prophecies and natural disasters as divine punishment.

This uproar follows a similar controversy just days earlier when fashion designer Maria B raised concerns about an alleged LGBTQ-themed party in Lahore.

She posted on social media that children who attended the gathering had shared videos and images with her in private.

According to her, these children were deeply unsettled by what they witnessed.

This allegedly included satanic-inspired outfits, coded vulgarity, and sexually suggestive behaviour.

Maria B labelled the event as a dangerous attempt to normalise values she claimed were alien to Pakistani religious and cultural identity. Her remarks also sparked heated exchanges online.

Parents and conservative voices expressed concern about what they see as an emerging underground culture.
