"Get out of my face you f*****g n****r."
Shocking footage emerged of a US Indian woman repeatedly calling a Black woman the n-word.
Taking place outside Pear Street Bistro in Pinole, California, on April 13, 2025, the woman was sitting in a car when she used the n-word nine times during a row.
It has now been revealed that the US Indian woman is 34-year-old Natasha Chand, a former bank worker.
The clip showed Chand, who previously worked at BMO Bank in Pinole, sitting in her car as a woman named Jazlyn Garcia recorded the encounter.
According to police, the confrontation started after Garcia and her sister left the restaurant and took issue with the way Chand looked at them.
Although the full interaction was not captured, the racial abuse was as Chand screamed:
“Get out of my face you f*****g n****r.”
Sergeant Justin Rogers of Pinole Police said: “They were basically like, ‘What’s up, yeah you’re trying to fight’ and she said when people where they’re from in the Bay Area look at you like that then it means that they wanna start something.
“So it just escalated from there, they started talking crazy to each other and the 15 seconds of Natasha running her mouth is what made it to the internet.”
According to a friend who shared the footage, Garcia is black and Mexican.
Sergeant Rogers confirmed the video does not show the entire exchange and that both sides traded insults. He also said Chand went beyond what was recorded.
He said: “Chand obviously thinks [Garcia] is Mexican because she repeatedly says ‘you Mexican N-word’, then she shortened it as you saw on the video.”
Pinole Police arrived at the scene and spoke with both women. Officers later classified the incident as a hate incident.
In a statement, police said: “Due to the nature of the verbal exchange between the involved parties, the incident has been classified as a hate incident and is currently under investigation by the department’s criminal investigation bureau.”
Sergeant Rogers confirmed a report will be submitted to the Contra Costa District Attorney’s Office to consider charges of disturbing the peace and challenging to fight in public against both women.
He said: “They both challenged each other to fight so we’re sending it down with both of them as suspects and both of them as victims, and the DA can decide what to do.”

Daily Mail reported that Chand was a senior retail relationship banker at BMO Bank from 2022 until she was recently fired.
Chand’s background raises further questions.
She was arrested on February 4, 2025, for allegedly robbing an Ulta Beauty store four times. That case is unrelated, but adds to growing scrutiny of her behaviour.
Chand faces charges including felony grand theft, second-degree burglary and three counts of misdemeanour shoplifting.
She appeared in court for a readiness hearing in Martinez just hours before the racist rant.
According to her social media profile, Chand was born in Fiji and has Indian heritage.
Pinole Mayor Cameron Sasai condemned what happened.
He said: “Seeing the footage, I’m disturbed, I’m outraged.
“The use of racial slurs, everything from racist anti-black rhetoric, is not welcome anywhere, especially in the city of Pinole.”
The police investigation is ongoing. No charges have yet been filed.
