Some high-profile people from the world of business and technology are rumoured to be attending Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s wedding.

Anant is the youngest son of billionaire Mukesh Ambani and he got engaged to Radhika in January 2023.

The pair are set to tie the knot on July 12, 2024, in Mumbai.

Meanwhile, pre-wedding festivities will take place in Jamnagar, Gujarat, from March 1-3.

As preparations continue, many VIPs are expected to attend the pre-wedding celebrations.

These include the likes of Meta boss Mark Zuckerberg, Microsoft’s Bill Gates and Disney CEO Bob Iger.

According to the Economic Times, Mexican billionaire Carlos Slim, Ivanka Trump and Qatar Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani will also be in attendance.

Many more international figures will also travel to India for Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s union.

It is also reported that a nine-page event guide and wardrobe planner has been sent to guests ahead of the pre-wedding celebration.

The National reported that all guests will travel to Jamnagar on chartered flights departing from Mumbai or Delhi between 8 am and 1 pm on March 1.

The guide says: “In order to accommodate everyone’s luggage, we ask you to pack consciously, with one item of hand luggage and one piece of hold luggage per person, or three total suitcases per couple.

“If you bring more luggage, we cannot guarantee it will arrive on the same flight as you, but we will do our best to bring it in at the earliest.”

Each night of the pre-wedding festivities will be themed, with day one called ‘An Evening in Everland’, the dress code has been listed as “elegant cocktail”.

Two events will take place on day two.

The first is called ‘A Walk on the Wildside’ and the dress code is “jungle fever”. It is expected to be held outdoors in the Ambanis’ animal rescue centre.

Guests are reportedly advised to wear comfortable shoes and clothing for this event.

Guests will then swap their safari-themed outfits for more glamorous ones for ‘Mela Rouge’ as the dress code is “dazzling Desi romance”.

The final day will also have two events.

‘Tusker Trails’ suggests “casual chic” clothing while ‘Hashtakshar’ recommends heritage Indian outfits.

According to reports, guests will have access to a range of laundry services including express clothes steaming.

Hairstylists, saree drapers and make-up services will also be available on-site.
