Amir Khan is no stranger to being on TV but the boxing legend revealed that he turned down two huge shows.

"There are a lot of shows but it’s hard to get the time."

Amir Khan revealed he rejected offers to appear on two high-profile TV shows.

The boxing legend, who took part in the 2017 series of ITV’s I’m A Celebrity, revealed he was lined up for a further two shows.

Amir was approached for Strictly Come Dancing and Celebrity MasterChef last year. However, he decided not to take part.

Amir said: “I have been asked to do Strictly Come Dancing so maybe I would do that.

“I have been asked to do Celebrity MasterChef recently, but I couldn’t do the filming this year.”

Despite turning down the shows, he has not ruled them out.

Amir Khan continued: “There are a lot of shows but it’s hard to get the time.

“At the same time, I like doing shows. People get to see the real side of me and who you are.”

Stating that he would only be on “top shows”, he added:

“Let’s see what happens but I am always down for doing things but only the top shows.

“I’ve done a lot of the top shows like I’m A Celebrity twice and in my opinion, it’s the biggest show out there, it is massive.”

In addition to being on TV, Amir is also open to a return to the boxing ring if the price is right.

He and YouTuber KSI have been linked with a potential fight several times in the past. But Amir previously said they’ve never had any direct contact.

Criticising KSI whilst revealing his demands, Amir Khan told Betway:

“There is nothing out there that they have said to me.

“They keep mentioning my name and calling me out. I’ve never spoken to KSI or anyone from his team, but they know where I am and know how to get in touch with me.

“We have mutual friends, and they have spoken to some of my mutual friends and asked about the fight, but nobody has come to me.

“I am my own boss now and have been for the last five years.”

“If they want to negotiate with me, I will speak to them and send it to my lawyer, and then negotiations start.

“I manage everything and know everything in the game.

“I want £10 million for the fight 100 per cent because a fight like that—I am not getting cut short with PPV numbers.

“If I want to return to the ring again then I want to make sure I am motivated to get back into the ring.

“I need something big to push me back. I have enough money, a big name, and have won multiple world titles, the Olympics and a lot of huge fights and tough training. We’re prize fighters.”
