The 2024 Ambani wedding celebrated the marriage of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant.
Anant and Radhika’s nuptials were a star-studded fashion, entertainment and music showcase.
After months of pre-wedding festivities, the couple finally tied the knot on July 12, 2024.
During her wedding vows, Radhika emotionally said: “Our home won’t just be a space, it will be our feeling of love and togetherness.

AR Rahman
Music composer AR Rahman lit up the Ambani wedding as he performed many of his acclaimed songs.
He was joined by Jonita Gandhi as he sang ‘Tere Bina‘ from Guru (2007).
The maestro also combined forces with Shreya Ghoshal for an exclusive performance.
Rahman played the piano as he crooned next to Shreya as the latter sparkled in a vibrant saree.
Shreya and Rahman’s performance elicited high praise from viewers.
One fan commented on YouTube: “If Hindi was a global language, I can bet [Shreya] would have been more famous than Taylor Swift.”
Another added: “AR Rahman is fabulous. Even after so many years, same pitch in his voice.”
Rahman also performed his Oscar-winning song, ‘Jai Ho‘ from Slumdog Millionaire (2008).
Udit Narayan
As AR Rahman continued to provide music from his piano, the renowned singer Udit Narayan blessed the microphone.
Udit entertained the audience with nostalgia from the 1990s.
This included ‘Taal Se Taal Mila‘ from Taal (1999).
When the chorus approached, the entire stage became a melodious display of music and soothing vocals.
The orchestra got into full form, as the aforementioned Jonita assisted Udit with her serene voice.
Luis Fonsi
Puerto Rican singer Luis Fonsi also blessed the occasion with a live rendition.
Luis won the affection and adulation of the crowd with his performance of ‘Despacito’.
Ranveer Singh could be seen bobbing along to the song.
Hardik Pandya also joined in with the performance, in a display of warmth and camaraderie.
Luis’ appearance at the Ambani wedding was unsurprising. Leading up to the event, he highlighted his journey from Miami to India on his Instagram Story.
Rema
Nigerian singer Rema belted ‘Calm Down’ at the event.
Featuring Selena Gomez, the 2022 song was a viral hit.
In the video, a voiceover narrates:
“The atmosphere was buzzing with an incredible energy.
“The crowd was treated to an unforgettable night of music. When Rema steps on stage, it’s like he owns the place.
“His confidence, energy and charisma light up the entire venue.”
This was evident in the manner in which Rema pulsated in his live performance.
AP Dhillon
AP Dhillon was also among those talented singers who performed live at the Ambani wedding, sending the audience into a craze.
During his performance, Salman Khan was dancing along in the crowd next to Anant’s father Mukesh Ambani.
Not only this, the radiant young star Ananya Panday shook a leg with AP Dhillon onstage.
FIFA president Gianni Infantino also danced to the tracks with Ranveer Singh.
Netizens were amused at this, with one user commenting:

Returning to the mistress of melody, Shreya Ghoshal gave another heartwarming performance at the Ambani wedding.
This time, she joined hands with Mohit Chauhan.
The duo crooned ‘Saans’ from Jab Tak Hai Jaan (2012).
In another performance, Shreya was joined by Shankar Mahadevan, Sonu Nigam and Kaushiki Chakraborty.
The wedding was truly a resplendent array of classic and contemporary tunes.
Before the marriage ceremony on July 12, the Ambani family held several festivities that saw international musicians arrive to perform.
During early celebrations in Jamnagar, Rihanna graced the occasion.
Meanwhile, during a European cruise, Katy Perry performed her chartbusters including ‘Firework’.
More recently, Justin Bieber performed his songs such as ‘Boyfriend’ and ‘What Do You Mean?’ to celebrate Anant and Radhika’s marriage.
