The latest instalment of the hit Punjabi film franchise is set to hit cinemas on June 27, 2025.
The news was confirmed by Diljit on social media, sparking excitement among fans on both sides of the border.
Pakistani actress Hania Aamir will also make her Indian cinema debut in Sardaar Ji 3.
Hania and Diljit’s collaboration has been eagerly awaited.
The two first interacted when the actress made a surprise appearance at one of Diljit Dosanjh’s concerts in London.
This appearance set off a cross-border desire regarding the two working together.
Now, with the release date confirmed, anticipation has reached a fever pitch.
Behind the scenes, several photos and videos have fuelled fans’ curiosity.
Diljit Dosanjh shared images of himself in a stylish ensemble, sporting black trousers, a red-and-white cap, a red jacket, and a hoodie.
The photos also featured a scenic location with tall trees and a serene lake.
Later, Hania Aamir posted a similar picture from the same location on her Instagram story, captioning it:
“What in the evermore is this.”
Adding to the intrigue, Hania was seen enjoying a Punjabi song in another Instagram story, which many speculated to be from Sardaar Ji 3.
Though the plot of Sardaar Ji 3 remains under wraps, the casting of Hania Aamir has already generated significant buzz.
Fans are excited to see her share the screen with the Punjabi singer in this latest instalment.
Sardaar Ji 3 comes after the massive success of the earlier films in the series.
Alongside the leading pair and Hania Aamir, the movie will also feature Manav Vij and Gulshan Grover.
Hania Aamir, fresh off being honoured at the House of Commons for her contributions to the entertainment industry, is making waves internationally.
The ceremony was hosted by British MP Afzal Khan.
