“I can’t believe I am going to be a Mrs soon."
Love Island‘s Kai Fagan and Sanam Harrinanan have announced the ultimate status update – their wedding date.
On Instagram, they shared a joint reel to announce when they will tie the knot.
Dressed to the nines, Kai and Sanam sported sunglasses as they held a large sheet.
They let it drop to reveal their ‘save-the-date’: August 1, 2025.
Confetti and balloons flew before the soon-to-be-married couple sipped on some champagne.
Sanam captioned the post: “It is confirmed!!
“August 1st 2025 we will be getting married EEEEKK!!
“I can’t believe I am going to be a Mrs soon.”
Their TikTok-style announcement had fans and friends celebrating in the comments.
One commented: “If we voted for you to win, can we come?”
Another asked: “Does this mean we’re all invited?”
Kai even asked fans to send the reel to footballing icon Wayne Rooney, stating that he “would love for him to be there”.
However, Sanam didn’t seem too impressed, replying:
“For goodness sake Kai. Seriously?”
TikTok star Manrika Khaira wrote: “Oh congrats guys!! You’re gonna make the most STUNNING bride ever.”
Meanwhile, fellow Love Island alum Tanyel Revan posted a series of love heart emojis.
Kai and Sanam also shared a post with their “first child” – their dog.
The post was captioned: “The reels better. But can’t do a save the date without our first child.”

The pair made history by becoming the first couple of colour to win the dating show, triumphing on the winter series in 2023.
Kai ditched his villa ex Olivia Hawkins for Sanam during the critical period of Casa Amor.
The couple only grew stronger since receiving the £50,000 prize, during which Sanam famously said she loved Kai on live TV.
Three months after the season ended, they moved in together, vlogging their new home after admitting that returning back to their hometowns was tough.
In the vlog, they said their funds for furniture were low, asking fans not to judge.
Kai added that moving in together was the “next logical step”.
In April 2024, the pair were enjoying a romantic boat trip in Cambridge when Kai got down on one knee.
Announcing the happy news, Kai wrote:
“Introducing the next Mrs Fagan. Beautiful, caring, loving and smart are just some of the words that describe you.
“I love loving you, I love you and can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with you.”
