“This kind of mark will not come by the cloth"
Sushant Singh Rajput’s family lawyer, Vikas Singh has shared crucial call details with AIIMS leading forensic Dr Sudhir Gupta.
The AIIMS report was submitted to the CBI on September 29, 2020. In the report, the team of six forensic doctors concluded that the late actor committed suicide by hanging.
The report firmly ruled out the murder angle creating another twist in Sushant’s death case.
Sushant’s family and lawyer Vikas Singh shared their dissatisfaction with the AIIMS report.
In fact, Vikas Singh requested the CBI for a new forensic team to investigate the case. In his letter to the CBI, he called the report submitted by AIIMS “faulty.”
Now, Singh has revealed call details with Dr Sudhir Gupta in an interaction with Republic TV.
Vikas Singh stated that Dr Sudhir Gupta made contact with him after the late actor’s father, KK Singh filed an FIR against Rhea Chakraborty. He said:
“When the Sushant tragedy happened and we got the FIR registered, he (Dr Sudhir Gupta) only rang me up.”
He added:
“There were two photos floating around, a morphed one which somebody had created and the one Meetu had taken from her camera.
“So I sent him Meetu’s photos and his immediate, spontaneous reaction was that if this photo is genuine, then this line he sees on Sushant’s neck is a 200% death by strangulation.
“This kind of mark will not come by the cloth with which he is supposed to have hanged (himself).”
However, Vikas Singh also stated that he did not record the call. He said:
“I’m not the kind of person who records calls, but in retrospect, I should have.
“But I’m sure when this goes to further examination his lies will be exposed.”
Recently, Rhea Chakraborty’s lawyer, Satish Maneshinde called out Sushant’s family and Vikas Singh for tampering with the investigation. He said:
“It is disturbing to learn that the family of SSR and its lawyers are interfering and tampering with the investigations by bringing pressure on the AIIMS team of Doctors.
“(They have been) speaking to them during investigations, releasing purported audio recorded conversations and information to the Media in order to bring pressure and tamper with potential witnesses.
“The SSR family lawyer is supposed to have said that he is going to meet the CBI Director to get the family’s predetermined path of investigations in SSR death.
“It is very disturbing to read such information in the Media as attempts are being made to get a predetermined result in the case.”
