Vedang Raina has revealed that dating is not a priority right now, amid dating rumours with Khushi Kapoor.
Since starring together in The Archies, there has been ongoing speculation that Vedang and Khushi are in a relationship.
Neither Khushi nor Vedang have openly admitted their relationship.
Although Vedang acknowledged having a “strong” connection with Khushi, he clarified that they are not in a relationship.
Vedang has now stated that he is prioritising his career more than anything else.
He explained: “My dating life right now is taking a back seat because I’m focused on my career.
“I’m clear about my priorities and want to keep these two aspects of my life separate.
“I’m enjoying where I am, and there’s a lot more I want to achieve.
“It’s not that dating would necessarily hinder me, but it can become a major part of your life.
“So I’m choosing to stay mindful of that and concentrate on what’s most important.”
Fans have said there have been several hints that Khushi and Vedang are dating.
In July 2024, Khushi was spotted out in Mumbai following a gym session.
As she waved to the paparazzi, fans noticed her phone wallpaper.
The wallpaper featured Khushi with Janhvi Kapoor, alongside their rumoured partners Vedang Raina and Shikhar Pahariya.
In another instance, the pair walked the ramp together for India Couture Week.
Modelling for Gaurav Gupta’s new collection Arunodaya, Khushi and Vedang could not take their eyes off each other.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Vedang Raina will be next seen in Vasan Bala’s Jigra, which stars Alia Bhatt.
On working with Alia, he said: “She’s the polar opposite of me as an actor, and honestly, it’s so confusing!
“Watching her, it’s clear she’s brilliant and makes a significant impact.”
