Shweta is accepting of her relationship.
Even before the release of her debut film, Shweta Tiwari’s daughter Palak Tiwari has been garnering a lot of public attention.
From her infamous ramp walk to her much-talked-about public appearance with Saif Ali Khan’s son Ibrahim Ali Khan, Palak has turned heads because of several reasons.
Palak had previously dismissed rumours of her relationship with Ibrahim after she was snapped with him outside a restaurant.
She also added that it was her mother Shweta Tiwari from whom she was hiding her face.
Palak Tiwari recently opened up about the spotting, and told Siddharth Kannan:
“It’s just friendship. There was all this conjecture and that’s why I didn’t pay any heed to it.
“We were just out, and we got papped. It ends there. It’s just that. In fact, we were with a group of people.
“It wasn’t just us. but it got papped like that. It was the narrative that people liked the most, but that’s it.”
If the latest reports are to be believed then the ‘Bijlee Bijlee’ star is currently dating Vedang Raina who will be seen in Zoya Akhtar’s upcoming film The Archies.
According to Pinkvilla, “Palak Tiwari and Vedang Raina are a part of the same talent agency.
“A source close to Vedang revealed that they have been seeing each other for more than two years now.
“Their growing intimacy and PDA at private parties is creating a lot of buzz in the B-Town but somehow, they have managed to keep their relationship under wraps.”
Reports further state that Palak’s mother Shweta is accepting of her relationship with Vedang and is impressed by her choices.
It is also reported that Palak’s team shut down reports by stating: “It’s just another rumour.”
Alongside Vedang, The Archies also stars Shah Rukh Khan’s daughter Suhana Khan, Sridevi’s daughter Khushi Kapoor, and Amitabh Bachchan’s grandson Agastya Nanda.
The 1960s coming-of-age musical is set in the fictional town of Riverdale, with the teaser of the film showing the cast of characters dancing around, appearing to be living their best lives.
Variety had previously announced that the Bollywood film will “reimagine the classic characters like Archie, Betty, Veronica, Reggie, Moose and Jughead as Indians and will feature all the classic elements of the hugely popular comic book series.”
It has been written by Kagti, Akhtar and Ayesha DeVitre.
Meanwhile, Palak is preparing to make her Bollywood debut with the horror-thriller Rosie: The Saffron Chapter, directed by Vishal Mishra, opposite Vivek Oberoi.
The film also stars Mallika Sherawat and Arbaaz Khan.
