“I’m stuck in Pakistan right now"
American travel vlogger Drew Binsky said he is stuck in Pakistan but safe.
After a deadly militant attack in Pahalgam, tensions between India and Pakistan escalated, with days of cross-border military strikes.
As fears of a war rose, US President Donald Trump announced the “full and immediate” ceasefire on his Truth Social Platform on May 10. He said it had been brokered by the US.
Despite the ceasefire, both nations have accused each other of “violations”.
The ceasefire has held, however, tensions remain high.
Amid this, Drew Binsky posted a video of himself in Pakistan and stating that he is “stuck in the country”.
He said: “I’m stuck in Pakistan right now due to the conflict with India, and all airports are closed.
“Thanks for all your thoughts and messages – I’m doing okay.
“I love this country and excited to continue exploring the Northern regions until I can get out.”
The vlogger added: “Make peace, not war.”
Binsky has over five million subscribers on YouTube and 1.2 million followers on Instagram.
In the video, Binsky said he is near Pakistan-occupied Kashmir. He showed visuals of locals staging a protest in the area.
He said he had planned to fly to the United States from Islamabad this weekend. His backup option is to travel by road to Kabul and fly out from Afghanistan.

In the comments section, many told Binsky to stay safe.
One wrote: “Enjoy your time. This will all end soon.”
Another said: “I wish you a safe exit from Pakistan.”
Advising him to get to the US Embassy, one person said:
“Kindly reach your country’s embassy at any cost. Sending care from India.”
A fan commented: “Be safe Drew! My mom, husband and I are were just watching your videos yesterday. Your love for all people is wonderful!”
Drew Binsky’s time in Pakistan comes just a few months after visiting India.
In December 2024, he called his business class flight from London to Amritsar the “worst business class” trip of his life.
He claimed his seat was broken and claimed he had to “eat his meal on a pillow covered in human hair”.
Over a month later, he shared how he missed the Mahakumbh Mela after being stuck in traffic for 19 hours. He said he slept in his car with his driver.
