Two Indian Brothers kill Man in Gym for Affair with Cousin

Two Indian brothers stand accused of murdering a young man in the gym who was having an affair with their cousin.

Identified as Sukhpal Singh, the deceased attended the gym at the Government Senior Secondary School where he was found beaten to death.

As a result of lodging a complaint against the girl’s family for murder, the police are currently questioning the Indian brothers who are in custody.

It is believed Sukhpal Singh and the 22-year-old unnamed woman shared an illicit relationship. This was opposed by her two Indian brothers.

Despite their objection, Sukhpal Singh would visit the woman at her residence at any given chance.

Allegedly, several months ago, Sukhpal Singh was caught in a quarrel with the unnamed woman’s cousins. This matter also reached the village council, however, the cousins did not back down.

On Wednesday, 25 March 2020, at 7 pm Sukhpal Singh visited the Government Senior Secondary School’s gym.

The Indian brothers named as Harbhajan Singh Bitu and Satnam Singh, who were made aware of this, reached the gym.

The pair mercilessly attacked the victim with an iron rod where they brutally beat him to death.

The father of deceased Sukhpal Singh, Gurmel Singh stated that he tried to get into contact with his son, however, his phone was switched off.

He further added that due to the janta curfew in India, he was unable to go out in search of his son.

Currently, with the outbreak of the Coronavirus, Prime Minister Narendra Modi enforced the janta curfew.

On Thursday 26 March 2020, Sukhpal Singh’s body was discovered by some youths who went to play in the school ground.

Upon seeing the bicycle, the group of youths looked inside the gym only to discover Sukhpal Singh’s deceased boy covered in blood.

They went to inform the village council who, in turn, informed the police.

The DSP reached the scene of the crime along with other police officers after receiving information about the murder.

The officials spoke to members of the family. According to information provided by the victim’s father, Harbhajan Singh Bitu and Satnam Singh were arrested.

It was also revealed there were some unknown accomplices involved in the ruthless murder of Sukhpal Singh.

In addition, the iron rod used to attack Sukhpal Singh was also recovered. Currently, the case is on-going.
