In honour of Prabhas’ 45th birthday, the makers of his upcoming film The Raja Saab have released an intriguing motion poster.
The new poster showcases Prabhas seated on a throne, exuding charisma in a black kurta-pyjama paired with a blue velvet shrug.
With his salt-and-pepper hair and a cigar in hand, he presents a striking image that has fans buzzing with excitement.
Previously rumoured to be a horror family drama, the latest poster confirms that The Raja Saab will indeed blend genres.
The makers specifically hinted at a horror comedy with the tagline: “Horror is the new humour.”
The motion poster was shared on X with the caption:
“Royal by blood… Rebel by choice… Claiming what was always his! Motion Poster out now.”
The film is set to hit theatres on April 10, 2025, and Prabhas shared the poster on his social media, stating:
“It’s time for some chills and thrills. See you in cinemas on April 10, 2025!”
Directed by Maruthi Dasari, The Raja Saab features an impressive ensemble cast, including Malavika Mohanan, Nidhi Agerwal, Riddhi Kumar and Sanjay Dutt.
Other cast members include Anupam Kher, Murali Sharma, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Jisshu Sengupta, Brahmanandam, and Yogi Babu.
The film is currently in production and has a reported budget of Rs. 400 Crore.
In July 2024, the makers released a teaser that provided a glimpse into Prabhas’ character and the film’s unique setting.
The teaser showcased Prabhas in a colourful lungi and black shirt. He made a grand entrance on a motorcycle while holding a bouquet of flowers.
The captivating background score composed by Thaman S added layers of romance and horror, enhancing the teaser’s appeal.
Director Maruthi Dasari expressed his enthusiasm about collaborating with Prabhas:
