Sunny Deol angrily confronts Media after Dharmendra's Scandal - F

"You people should be ashamed of yourselves!"

While Sunny Deol is an immensely popular star, he is unafraid to show his anger when he feels it.

Sunny has personally recounted incidents when he shouted at a fan in an airport or tore his jeans on the sets of Darr (1993).

The Deol family have recently been at the heart of a disturbing scandal in recent weeks.

This was after the hospitalisation of the veteran actor and Sunny’s father, Dharmendra.

Shortly afterwards, the media began to incorrectly announce that the Sholay star had passed away.

This development angered his family and prompted his daughter, Esha Deol, and wife, Hema Malini, to condemn the false reports on social media.

At the time, Sunny Deol’s team also issued a statement, which read:

“Mr Dharmendra is stable and under observation. Further comments and updates will be shared as available.

“Kindly don’t indulge in spreading false rumours regarding his health.

“[We] request everyone to pray for his speedy recovery and respect the family’s right to privacy.”

On November 13, 2025, a video clip emerged on Instagram, showing Sunny lashing out at paparazzi outside his house.

In the clip, the Gadar actor angrily said: “You people should be ashamed of yourselves!

“There are parents in your houses. You have children.

“And you won’t stop recording us.

“Don’t you feel ashamed?”

Sunny amassed support from netizens.

One said: “Good, finally these guys needed this.”

Another added: “His anger is absolutely justified.”

A third declared: “Very insensitive on the part of the concerned media channels. Respect humanity and dignity of life.

“You never know what is in store for you next.”

Media channels that incorrectly reported that Dharmendra had died included BollywoodShaadis and India Today.

Furthermore, celebrities, including Javed Akhtar, posted messages of condolence on social media.

These figures have since deleted such posts from their social media handles.

It was previously reported that Sunny was planning to take legal action against the media.

Calling out the false reports, Hema Malini had tweeted: “What is happening is unforgivable!

“How can responsible channels spread false news about a person who is responding to treatment and is recovering?

“This is being extremely disrespectful and irresponsible.

“Please give due respect to the family and its need for privacy.”

Recently, Dharmendra was discharged from the hospital.

He was visited by the likes of Aamir Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, and Ameesha Patel.

On the professional front, Sunny Deol is gearing up for Border 2. The film is scheduled to be released on January 23, 2026.

He also has Gabru, Lahore 1947, and the Ramayana saga in the works.
