Govinda’s wife, Ssunita Ahuja, has made pointed remarks about the actor’s recent public appearances with debutant Komal Rani Swarnkar.
During a paparazzi interaction in Mumbai, Ssunita openly questioned Govinda’s outings with the newcomer.
Her comments came after Govinda and Komal were recently photographed together at Mumbai airport.
The photographs sparked immediate questions about the nature of their relationship.
Neither Govinda nor Komal has publicly confirmed they are dating.
When paps asked Ssunita about Govinda’s airport appearances and his promotion of upcoming projects, her response was direct:
“A movie actually has to get made first; promotion happens after the film is ready.
“But even without any promotion… what can one say?”
She then turned her attention specifically to Govinda being seen publicly with Komal.
Ssunita described her as far too young to be accompanying him:
“He’s going around with a girl young enough to be his daughter.
“He ought to feel at least a little ashamed. There should be some standards.”
The remark carries particular weight given that Govinda and Ssunita’s own daughter Tina is 35 years old.
Ssunita did not stop there and went on to make a further pointed remark directed specifically at Komal’s appearance:
“If your ‘sugar daddy’ is that rich, at least wear decent clothes.”
“Look at us. See the style we carry.”
Her comments drew immediate and widespread attention across social media and entertainment news platforms.
Komal Rani Swarnkar is a newcomer set to make her Bollywood debut alongside Govinda in his upcoming return to the big screen.
Govinda recently announced his comeback with two projects, Roopa and Duniyadari, introducing Swarnkar as the female lead of Roopa.
He is also producing both projects, making his association with Swarnkar both a professional and increasingly scrutinised personal matter.
