Priyanka Chopra’s sister-in-law, Sophie Turner has showered inundated praise for Priyanka and even went as far as saying Indians worship her.
In a tremendous career span of 17 years, Priyanka has gone from strength to strength both in Bollywood and on an international scale.
There is no doubt Priyanka is one of the most prolific stars worldwide.
As well as making an impression in the east and west, it seems Priyanka has cast a charm a little closer to home.
The Jonas brothers are certainly one of the most popular bands in the world.
Yet, it is their wives, Priyanka (Nick’s wife), Sophie (Joe’s wife) and Danielle (Kevin’s wife) who have stolen the attention with their camaraderie. They have even been dubbed as the ‘J Sisters’.
According to a recent interview with Elle US, Sophie Turner praised her sister-in-law Priyanka.
Sophie also mentioned that being a part of the Jonas family allowed her to get “two built-in girlfriends” in the form of Priyanka and Danielle.
Sophie stated that she reminds herself that Priyanka is a senior artist due to her extensive career. She said:
“With Pri (Priyanka), especially, it’s kind of crazy. You have to remind yourself that she’s basically had a 20-year career in Bollywood already.
“She’s like the biggest thing in India right now.”
Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas tied the knot on December 1, 2018, in a lavish big fat Indian wedding.
The entire Jonas clan flew out to India to be a part of the celebrations. Sophie was accompanied by her husband Joe Jonas for Priyanka’s and Nick’s wedding.
Their wedding was a star-studded affair with the who’s who of Bollywood in attendance. It was also reported overseas.
Sophie Turner spoke about Priyanka’s influence in India. She said:
“When we went there for her and Nick’s wedding, we were treated like royalty. They worship her over there.”
In the United States, Priyanka and Sophie live close to each other. Speaking about how the family is a tightknit group, Sophie said:
“It’s kinda crazy. But she’s just the nicest person and they live like 10 minutes away.
“And even though Kevin and Danielle like in New Jersey, we see them all the time.
“It’s like we’re all one big family because the boys are best friend.”
Undoubtedly, Sophie Turner is in awe of her sister-in-law Priyanka Chopra Jonas and their family relations are certainly inspiring.
