"I read it the same way... shade against Priyanka right."
According to a number of social media users, the Jonas family do not like Priyanka Chopra after seeing a post by Danielle Jonas.
Priyanka got married to Nick Jonas at the Umaid Bhawan Palace in Jodhpur in December 2018 and since then, she has supposedly become an important part of the family.
She even celebrated the Christmas holidays with the Jonas family.
However, social media users are suggesting that everything is not fine between Priyanka and Nick’s family.
It was Game of Thrones actress Sophie Turner’s 23rd birthday on February 21, 2019, and Danielle took to Instagram.
Danielle, the wife of eldest Jonas brother Kevin, wished Sophie a happy birthday.
She wrote:
“Happy birthday Sophie!! My girls and I are so blessed to have you in our lives, they can’t get enough of their aunt Sophie!
“You deserve the world and IÂ hope you’re having an amazing birthday! Love you.”
After it was posted, people began suggesting that Danielle’s birthday wish throws shade against Priyanka.
One user commented: “The lowkey shade in this tho. I love sassy Dani!”
Another wrote: “I read it the same way… shade against Priyanka right.”
The comments prompted Danielle to respond to those thinking that they do not like Priyanka.
She replied: “No shade about Priyanka. It’s just Sophie’s birthday so I wanted to say happy birthday.
“I think everyone should stop thinking that we don’t like Priyanka she is lovely. I am so over people trying to make a problem.”
After explaining that everything is well between the Jonas family and Priyanka, Danielle turned off the Instagram comments for that post.
Priyanka also sent her wishes to her future sister-in-law. The actress shared a photo of Sophie and her fiance Joe Jonas and wrote:
“To one of the most beautiful, fun people I’ve known. Happy birthday, Sophie, you are loved!”
“I can’t wait to see you as a bride. You will be stunning! Have a brilliant year love #jsisters 4eva!”
It is clear that interpretations have led to the thought that Priyanka is not liked by her in-laws.
Fortunately, Danielle confirmed that there are no issues between Priyanka and the Jonas family.
On the work front, Priyanka will be making her big Bollywood comeback in The Sky is Pink.
