"And, we know who rules Bollywood."
While stating that someone has been preventing career opportunities for her, Somy Ali claimed that one person is known for killing actors’ careers.
The former actress revealed that she received Hollywood offers but an undisclosed person prevented her from working in the industry.
Somy said: “I had started getting offers from Hollywood.
“If I know this person which I do better than any of you, he will never stop. I tried to work in Hollywood, but he had the agency send me a letter that they will ‘never’ represent me.
“The agency in the US is partnered with his talent agency in Mumbai.”
She then decided to launch a production house to help actors with no family members in Bollywood, adding that it is an open secret that there is one person who “rules” the industry.
Somy continued: “So after trying everything, I have initiated Somy Ali Productions, LLC.
“I will write, direct, produce, perform, and give new actors breaks they couldn’t catch because their daddies were not affiliated with the film industry.
“And, we know who rules Bollywood. We know who buys awards.
“We know who murders brilliantly talented actors’ and singers’ careers.”
Since quitting the film industry, Somy has remained in the headlines due to her NGO No More Tears.
However, it has led to rumours that she underwent plastic surgery and had cancer.
Revealing that the fake news originated from the same person, Somy Ali said:
” The actor who all know and whose name I don’t want to take turned all my friends, directors, producers, and family members against me by calling me a liar.
“He continued bullying me as he told the entire Hindi film industry not to work with me and that I had cancer plus plastic surgery.
“That rumour affected my mom and my well-wishers as they believed I am suffering from cancer and hiding it.
“So let’s apply logic here: I have cancer, which requires Chemotherapy, but I am simultaneously getting plastic surgery.
“Bravo and kudos to the journalists, Simi Chandoke and Ujjawal Trivedi.
“As one with degrees in psychology and broadcast journalism, plus a moral compass, I must ask Simi that my memory of you has always been one who was extremely kind to me and it was reciprocal.
“Now given the way you look with or without plastic surgery, I can have a blast comparing the sewage system having more of an appeal than your looks now and even back then.
“You see because it was I who worked with the biggest Bollywood actors, not you. And I didn’t even want to act.
“But I won’t stoop to your level or you know what let this be a one-off, hence I did.”
“So let me say this: how can someone who I remember to be such a good person just turn into an awful evil person in a snap?”
Criticising Ujjawal Trivedi, she said:
“As for Ujjawal, I don’t know you from Adam, but I have heard that you used to be a very well-respected journalist. What happened? I seriously mean it, what happened?
“I am seriously concerned for you as a therapist because only people with sociopathic tendencies would make up life-threatening ailments like cancer which happens to run in my family.
“You made my mother cry and worry and drive me nuts about getting regular mammograms.
“That’s not very intellectual journalism and nor is it getting all your facts together which is the number one rule of being a journalist.
“I don’t hate you for me, but I am curious what made you make such false claims and make my mother so severely worried?”
On her current plans, Somy Ali added:
“I continue to focus on my NGO No More Tears and its mission to help people all over the world. I mind my own business.
“I live life one day at a time. Everyone should do something to help others. It is nice to be important but more important to be nice.”
