Sidhu Moosewala has become the first-ever Indian artist in history to perform on the main stage at the 2021 Wireless Festival.

The Punjabi artist performed the multicultural, international collaboration song ‘47’ alongside UK rapper The Mist and world-renowned music producer Steel Banglez.

A combination of Punjabi and English, the song also features Stefflon Don. It was released in October 2019.

The single was ranked on the UK Singles Chart.

The song has been compared to the 2003 ‘Mundian To Bach Ke’ iconic collaboration between Panjabi MC and Jay-Z.

The track is based on the idea of an AK-47. Sidhu Moosewala compares himself to an AK-47 and how he has made his family and ancestors proud.
