“This is so EPIC. My favourite worlds colliding.”
A fan edit of Deepika Padukone dancing to a BTS band member playing the drums has gone viral.
The eleven-second clip appears to show the Bollywood star dancing to ‘Nagada Sang Dhol’ as Jungkook plays the drums.
It seamlessly transitions between the song taken from the film Goliyon Ki Rasleela Ram-Leela (2013) to shots of the K-Pop star.
The drumming footage has been taken from the band’s recently released EoGiYeongChaSeoul music video.
Fans of both Deepika and BTS went on social media to express just how impressed they were by the edit.
One person tweeted: “This is so EPIC. My favourite worlds colliding.”
Another joked: “Ranveer Singh left the chat.”
An Instagram user added: “Gurllll I’m impressed, such an impressive edit, I’m loving it.”
Someone else said: “It matches so well.”

It comes as no surprise to the many who are convinced that the actress is part of the army – a term used to refer to BTS fans. People feel the actress has been dropping hints for a few years.
In 2016, Deepika shared pictures of herself in a purple evening gown before awards show on Instagram with the caption, stating:
“I Purple You.”
The phrase was coined by band member V. He says it means someone is saying that they “trust you, love you, support you, and be loyal to you.”
Many also picked up on the fact that she had liked posts from Louis Vuitton, featuring BTS who are now ambassadors for the brand.
The seven-part boy band first debuted in 2013 and quickly established a cult following, which has led to them becoming international icons.
They have appeared on several chat shows including Ellen, been on the cover of Time Magazine, and have met world leaders since then.
Meanwhile, Deepika Padukone has announced that she will be launching a lifestyle brand focusing on beauty and skincare at some point in 2022.
In a statement on Instagram, the 83 star said: “India, I believe, has always been positioned uniquely.
“While we have tremendous access to the rest of the world, we are a country that is rich in values, culture and heritage; something we are extremely proud of.
“Therefore, our endeavour is to build a brand that is rooted in India yet global in its reach and appeal.”
This is not the first viral edit featuring both BTS and Bollywood after a combination of ‘Chunari Chunari’ and ‘Boy With Luv’ was shared in 2020.
