Kapoor styled the look with drop earrings.
Shanaya Kapoor turned heads in a sculptural Gaurav Gupta saree, embracing metallic greys that balanced contemporary glamour with couture craftsmanship in a look rooted firmly in modern Indian fashion.
The eye was immediately drawn to the off-the-shoulder blouse, which curved across the bust in layered bands, creating a contoured surface that reflects Gupta’s signature design language.
Flowing from silver to charcoal, the sari carried a subtle gradient that shifted with movement, its sequinned surface catching light unevenly as it wrapped across the body.
Rather than appearing as a single sweep of shine, the fabric broke into tonal sections, giving the ensemble depth, texture, and a sense of motion even when still.
Kapoor styled the look with drop earrings and hand chains from Indinoor, the jewellery label she co-created, paired with slicked-back hair, flushed blush, and sharp winged liner.
She has been closely involved in shaping Indinoor’s identity, contributing to product curation and creative direction as the brand reimagines how Indian jewellery fits into everyday style.
Explaining her vision, Shanaya said she wanted to create pieces for women who value Indian craftsmanship but want jewellery that feels easy, fun, and effortless to wear.
She added that Indinoor challenges the idea of jewellery being reserved for special occasions, instead celebrating personal style, everyday joy, and ownership of Indian adornments.
The daughter of actor Sanjay Kapoor and Maheep Kapoor, Shanaya is a member of the influential Kapoor family, a long-standing dynasty within the Indian film industry.
She was educated at Ecole Mondiale World School in Mumbai and later pursued further acting studies, laying the groundwork for a carefully considered entry into Bollywood.
Shanaya began her career as an assistant director on Gunjan Saxena in 2020, gaining behind-the-scenes experience before stepping in front of the camera.
Her acting debut came with the 2025 film Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan, marking a key milestone as she builds momentum within Hindi cinema.
In 2022, she was set to be launched by Karan Johar with Bedhadak, but the project was shelved, a moment she later described as deeply heartbreaking.
That setback unexpectedly led her to director Santosh Singh’s romantic drama opposite Vikrant Massey, reshaping her journey and creative direction.
Alongside acting, Shanaya also works as a model, steadily gaining attention for her fashion choices, screen presence, and ambition for a significant role in Hindi cinema.
With its dense sequin surface and shifting metallic tones, the Gaurav Gupta saree is best suited to evening settings where light and stillness can truly enhance its impact.
