ZEE5 Global is set to premiere Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan, a soulful romantic comedy starring Vikrant Massey and Shanaya Kapoor, streaming exclusively worldwide from September 5, 2025.
Directed by Santosh Singh and produced by Mini Films, the film is inspired by Ruskin Bond’s beloved short story The Eyes Have It, adding a cinematic twist.
The story follows Jahaan, played by Vikrant Massey, a gifted blind musician whose quiet strength and vulnerability shape a heartfelt narrative of connection and discovery.
Opposite him, Shanaya Kapoor makes her highly anticipated debut as Saba, a fearless aspiring actress determined to chase her dreams in an uncertain industry.
Their unexpected meeting on a train sparks humour, warmth and intimacy, as their bond grows not through appearances but through shared hopes, laughter and soulful conversations.
Set against a backdrop of ambition and music, the film celebrates love as a force that transcends sight, perception and societal expectations.
Zain Khan Durrani plays a pivotal supporting role, while composer Vishal Mishra delivers a stirring soundtrack with vocals by Jubin Nautiyal and Asees Kaur.
