Shamol Mawla and Sabila Nur are set to share the screen for the first time in the upcoming drama Makorsha.

The Bangladeshi drama will premiere on Deepto TV this Eid-ul-Fitr 2025.

Written by Rebeka Sultana Keya and directed by Ragib Raihan Pial, the show promises a suspenseful thriller filled with unexpected twists.

Pial expressed his excitement about the project, praising the performances of both Shamol and Sabila.

The director said: “This is the first time these two have worked together, and they’ve delivered exceptional performances.

“I’m very optimistic about Makorsha.

“The story is truly unique, and with their powerful acting, I believe the audience will be captivated.”

Sabila Nur also shared her enthusiasm, describing the drama as a gripping thriller.

In an interview, she revealed: “The story unfolds with twists that will keep viewers on the edge of their seats. I loved the storyline and my character.

“I gave the project my all, and I hope the audience will enjoy it.”

Shamol Mawla, originally known for his work in television dramas, has expanded his career into films and OTT platforms.

His performances in web-based projects have received critical acclaim, and he continues to take on diverse roles across multiple platforms.

Currently, he is starring in Sobuj Gram Shohorer Pathor, a drama series directed by Ruman Runi.

He also plays a key role in Agontuk, directed by Sumon Dhar, which is now streaming on iScreen.

Additionally, his latest online video commercial, Golden Plus TV, directed by Mustafa Tarique Hadi, has gained traction online.

Sabila Nur, one of the leading actresses of her generation, has also made a mark in the OTT industry.

Her performance in Shihab Shaheen’s web series Golam Mamun earned her an award at the end of 2024.

While she remains busy with television dramas, she has recently ventured into writing.

In February 2025, she made her debut as an author with Bhalobasha Otopor.

It is a collection of ten stories published by Anannya Prokashoni and launched at the Ekushey Book Fair.

With both actors bringing their experience and talent to Makorsha, the drama is expected to be a major highlight of the Eid lineup.

Their fans eagerly await this fresh pairing, hoping for a thrilling and memorable viewing experience.
