"You are not qualified to treat me."
Since entering Bigg Boss 16, Shalin Bhanot has been embroiled in several controversies.
A clip now shows him insulting and disrespecting a doctor who was in the house to help him.
During the captaincy task, he pushed Archana Gautam out of his way.
Shalin was subsequently punished, being told that he cannot be the captain of the house ever.
This upset Shalin and it has led to him being extremely quiet or having angry outbursts.
Concerned by his behaviour, a doctor was brought into the house to speak to Shalin and find out what was going on.
However, a video clip shows Shalin getting in the doctor’s face and undermining his qualifications.
The video shows Shalin walking up to the doctor and questioning his qualifications. He says:
“What have you studied? Tell the team I want to talk to them. I do not want to create an issue.
“You are not qualified to treat me. I am on record telling this that you are not qualified to treat me. You are not qualified to handle me.”
Shalin goes on to disrespect the doctor’s qualifications, assuming:
“You must be an MBBS.”
In India, an MBBS is an undergraduate, first professional degree. An MD degree is a post-graduate degree that is obtained after an MBBS.
Shalin’s disrespectfulness continues, bragging that he has published Park’s Textbook of Preventive and Social Medicine. The medical journal was published by Bhanot publishers.
He then leaves the room.

Shalin’s behaviour has led to a lot of anger among social media users, who criticised his attitude towards the doctor and requested his removal from Bigg Boss 16.
One said: “No idea how much docs work hard… sleepless study nights, sleepless emergency duty nights… it’s a devotion… no one can disrespect this way.”
Another commented: “Don’t like this behaviour Bigg Boss please get out of the house Shalin.”
A third person said:
“This guy is intimidating a doctor too! Not acceptable.”
Some called for Salman Khan to reprimand Shalin on Friday’s episode.
Shalin Bhanot previously got into an argument with Archana Gautam over chicken.
He claimed that under his doctor’s orders, he has to have a chicken-based diet in order to maintain his protein intake.
But Archana disapproved of Shalin eating the chicken that was allocated to the entire house.
This resulted in a heated argument.
