In a promo video for Bigg Boss 16, Sumbul Touqeer Khan seemingly cut ties with Shalin Bhanot.
The pair has been a major talking point throughout the show, with many claiming that Sumbul is obsessed with Shalin.
Meanwhile, Shalin seemingly has a romance brewing with Tina Datta.
Now, a promo video shows Sumbul standing up to Shalin and telling him that she will not stand with those who insult her.
As Shalin tries to mend things with Sumbul, he says:
“Do you know who is the biggest strength of this house, you, me and Tina.
“When someone points a finger, one needs to stand with their own.”
But a teary-eyed Sumbul is not buying his comments and replies:
“I supported you blindly, what did I get, insults.
“Don’t you tell me when to stand on my own. I stand with those who stand with me. Those who insult me in front of the world, I will never support them.”
While some praised Sumbul, others believe she will go back to him.
One said: “Hope she’ll continue this attitude towards Shalin and Tina aunty.”
Another commented: “Yes please we need this toxic friendship to end. Great going.”
A social media user said: “I wish she changes but this happened before and she ended up going back to them.”

Sumbul also received a call from her father under false medical reasons.
In reference to the chaos surrounding her and Shalin, he asked:
“Child what is happening?”
Sumbul then breaks down and says she has no idea.
In response, her father advises her to stay away from Tina and Shalin, insulting the pair.
He says:
“Tell Tina she should be ashamed of herself. Now show Tina and Shalin their place on national TV.”
In tears, Sumbul says she will do exactly what her father has told her to do.
However, Mr Touqeer’s remarks towards Tina have not gone down well.
Former Bigg Boss contestant Kushal Tandon questioned why Sumbul gets special privileges. She also slammed him for being disrespectful towards Tina.
She tweeted: “Why is Sumbul the only contestant whose dad was allowed to come on stage to talk about how she is going… how she is the only contestant whose dad gives her a call and can talk over the phone.”

She went on to state that this is biased towards Sumbul as other contestants cannot have contact with people outside the Bigg Boss house.
But she added that Mr Touqeer’s behaviour is not a good look for Sumbul.
