IIFA 2025’s first leg kicked off in Jaipur, marking the 25th anniversary of the awards.
Bollywood’s biggest names descended on the Pink City on March 7 but it was Shahid and Kareena’s surprising reunion that stole the spotlight.
After years of seemingly zero contact, the exes greeted each other with a warm hug before engaging in an animated conversation with Karan Johar and Kartik Aaryan.
Cameras caught their light-hearted chatter, and fans couldn’t stop talking about the heartwarming moment.

Shahid addressed the buzz while speaking to the media on the IIFA Digital Awards green carpet.
He played down the speculation, saying:
“For us, it’s nothing new… we meet here and there, and it’s totally normal for us. If people felt nice, that’s great.”
Shahid Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor were Bollywood’s “it” couple in the early 2000s before ending their relationship in 2007.
Despite their breakup, they maintained a professional relationship and appeared together in several films, including Fida (2004), Chup Chup Ke (2006), Jab We Met (2007), and Udta Punjab (2016).
The nostalgic reunion has fans reminiscing about their iconic Jab We Met roles as Geet and Aditya.
