A video clip in which Kareena Kapoor allegedly ignored her ex-boyfriend Shahid Kapoor was shared on social media.
The occasion was the 2024 Dadasaheb Phalke Awards, which saw the former couple grace the event.
Shahid looked dapper in a black suit, while the Laal Singh Chaddha actress sizzled in a cream dress.
However, when the pair crossed paths on the red carpet, things looked seemingly awkward.
In the clip, Kareena was seen walking with her entourage.
Shahid appeared to be smiling at her, but she did not appear to acknowledge him.
She instead went to greet the man standing next to him.
Meanwhile, Shahid smiled at the rest of her team as they followed.
This incident did not go down well with fans as many slammed Kareena for her actions.
One fan commented: “After chasing him for years and making him fall in love with her just to dump him for Saif gives her no right to show cold shoulder.
“Rather, SK should’ve done that but he smiled because he’s a gentleman!”
Another echoed this sentiment and defended Shahid. They said:
“Doesn’t matter Shahid is a true gentleman and Mira is stunning. Both don’t need validation from Kareena.”
A third added: “Such a big ego. He is very humble. Shahid Kapoor deserved better.”

Kareena and Shahid began their careers in the early 2000s. They appeared together in the likes of Fida (2004) and Chup Chup Ke (2006).
As time passed, their friendship blossomed into romance.
Their most famous outing came with Imtiaz Ali’s Jab We Met (2007). However, they broke up while filming the movie.
Kareena then went on to marry Saif Ali Khan in 2012, while Shahid tied the knot with Mira Rajput in 2015.
In a previous interview, Shahid recalled meeting his ex-girlfriend when she was pregnant with her first child Taimur Ali Khan.
He had said: “Yes, I did bump into her and it was heartwarming to see her fully pregnant.
“Because I’ve just been through [that experience of] having a baby.
“I felt happy for her. I asked her when she was due, and she told me it is sometime next month.
“She also asked about Misha. So it was very nice.”
The actress also has a second son with Saif named Jeh.
On the other hand, Shahid and Mira Rajput are proud parents to a daughter named Misha and a son named Zain.
At the 2024 Dadasaheb Phalke Awards, Kareena won ‘Critics Best Actress’ for Jaane Jaan (2023).
Shahid won the accolade for ‘Best Actor in a Web Series’ for Farzi (2023).
On the work front, Shahid was last seen in Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya (2024).
The film has currently earned over Rs. 100 crores (£9 million) at the box office.
Meanwhile, Kareena Kapoor will next star in The Crew and Singham Again.
