"Rakul and Jackky will have two wedding ceremonies"
Rakul Preet Singh and Jackky Bhagnani have officially tied the knot in Goa.
Pre-wedding festivities kicked off on February 19, 2024, and celebrities were pictured flying out to Goa.
The likes of Shilpa Shetty, Ayushmann Khurrana, Arjun Kapoor and David Dhawan are all attendees.
Family and close friends were at the luxury ITC Grand Goa resort for the wedding.
While details have been kept under wraps, the couple’s wedding consists of two ceremonies.
They have already had Rakul’s ‘Chuddha’ ceremony. This was followed by a traditional Anand Karaj ceremony.
A lively Sindhi ceremony will soon follow.
A source close to the couple previously said:
“Rakul Preet Singh’s ‘Chuddha’ ceremony is scheduled for the morning.
“Then the couple will take the saath pheras after 3:30 pm at the ITC Grand South Goa.
“Rakul and Jackky will have two wedding ceremonies: Anand Karaj and a Sindhi-style ceremony, reflecting both their cultures.
“The choice of an early evening wedding reflects the couple’s desire for a bright and cheerful start to their marital journey.”
According to reports, Jackky has a surprise for Rakul.
He will gift her a song that represents their relationship, which was confirmed in October 2021.
Titled ‘Bin Tere’, the track will add a special touch to the ceremony.
While Mayur Puri has worked on the lyrics, the song has been composed by Tanishk Bagchi.
‘Bin Tere’ has been performed by Zahrah S Khan, Romy and Tanishk Bagchi, the report added.
A source said: “Jackky Bhagnani has poured his heart into this love song for Rakul Preet Singh and it will be an important part of the celebration.
“He wanted to gift her something meaningful and unforgettable.
“The song promises to be a musical celebration of Jackky and Rakul’s union and the beginning of their beautiful journey together.”
In the official wedding pictures, Rakul and Jackky looked regal in their respective attires.
For the wedding, Rakul wore a light pink lehenga and made a statement with extravagant diamond jewellery.
Meanwhile, Jackky wore a subtle gold sherwani with a massive necklace.
The joint post read: “Mine now and forever. 21-02-2024.”
On the work front, Rakul Preet Singh will be seen in Indian 2 opposite Kamal Haasan. The film also stars Bobby Simhaa and Priya Bhavani Shankar.
The sequel comes 28 years after the first instalment.
Meanwhile, Jackky Bhagnani is awaiting the release of his next production Bade Miyan Chote Miyan.
Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, the film stars Akshay Kumar, Tiger Shroff, Sonakshi Sinha and Prithviraj Sukumaran.
It is scheduled to release on April 10, 2024.
