Rakul also discussed her current approach to choosing film roles, emphasising that she seeks substance and character depth.

“I want to do commercial films, yes, but with parts that have soul,” she said.

“I’ve done the ornamental roles. Now I want women with an arc.”

She added with humour that she would still accept a smaller role if offered the opportunity to work opposite Shah Rukh Khan.

Throughout the shoot, Rakul showcased an array of designer looks, including a mineral stone cascade tank dress by Christopher Esber paired with seahorse earrings by Studio Metallurgy, and an asymmetric flap top with a darted column skirt by QUA.

Accessories from Outhouse Jewellery and Tod’s footwear completed her contemporary yet elegant looks.

Despite her demanding schedule, Rakul maintained a relaxed, approachable demeanour.

“People assume actors live otherworldly lives,” she said.

“But I’m just trying to be a good daughter, a good partner, a good friend, a good actor.”

She described herself as “clumsy” and said her “sanity is non-negotiable”, highlighting her preference for simplicity over glamour.
