"It doesn’t really give me any happiness."
Sara Khan revealed that getting glammed up for parties does not give her happiness.
The actress will soon star in the series Guilt 3.
Opening up on her preference to focus on herself, Sara said:
“I feel happy being in my own zone, I like spending time with my family, I like focusing on my work, engaging myself creatively gives me more happiness rather than decorating myself and going to the parties, you know, show up for people.
“It doesn’t really give me any happiness.
“So, I am doing things which make me happy, and I am living for myself and why should I be present for the world everywhere, I do parties but only with a handful of friends.”
Sara Khan also delved into details about Guilt 3.
She explained: “Guilt 3 will be releasing soon, as the name suggests, it is about a father, daughter, and stepmothers’ relationship and how things go wrong very quickly.
“I am playing the role of a girl, who is 10 years younger than me, so it was tough and challenging to play someone younger.
“I do not think I have to channelise my profile in a certain direction.
“I am doing whatever is coming my way and I am enjoying every bit of it.”
She also shed light on her work in the future:
“I have developed a concept that I am going to produce through my own production house.
“One of my films will be out very soon. So I am very excited about that.
“We will be releasing three music videos soon.”
In February 2024, Sara came out in support of Ranveer Singh’s sexual wellness advert.
The Padmaavat actor collaborated with adult film star Johnny Sins on the project.
She said: “Larger-than-life sets and unrealistic sequences define Indian television, and we, as TV actors, must be proud about it.
“They haven’t done anything wrong or disrespected anything!
“The pattern of Indian TV is a bit exaggerated when it comes to the high points and that’s what people love to watch.
“TV has been ruling across platforms, since forever.
“So, this is a great way to spread this message among the masses.
“We must be proud as TV actors that this is being done.”
“As for the topic goes, everyone is having sex then why it is considered such a taboo to talk about it?
“It is important to talk about healthy sex and people need to be aware about it too.”
Sara appeared in Kangana Ranaut’s reality show Lock Upp in 2022.
She began her television career by starring as Sadhana Rajvansh in Sapna Baabul Ka…Bidaai from 2007 to 2010.
