Reports are circulating that Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda got engaged in Hyderabad.
The private ceremony was said to be attended by only close family and friends, with sources claiming the couple are planning to marry in February 2026.
Neither actor has confirmed the engagement.
But reports have suggested that the couple decided to delay any official announcement, reflecting their preference to keep personal matters private.
Both Vijay and Rashmika have remained silent on the speculation surrounding their relationship.
Fans were quick to link Rashmika’s recent social media post to the reported engagement. She shared photos of herself wearing a saree, which went viral and sparked suggestions the look was tied to the ceremony.
On Dussehra, Rashmika also posted a picture in traditional attire with a tilak on her forehead. She captioned the post:
“Happy Dussehra my loves…This year, I’m feeling extra grateful because of all the love you’ve been showering on the Thamma trailer and our song.
“Your messages, your excitement, your constant support you make every moment bigger and happier for me. And I can’t wait to see you all super sooooon during the promotions.”
According to reports, the engagement was held at Vijay’s residence in Hyderabad.
No photos have surfaced from the event, which was described as a private gathering with immediate family present.
The pair’s on-screen chemistry in Geetha Govindam first made them a popular fan favourite.
Their reunion in Dear Comrade in 2019 reignited interest and fuelled rumours that their on-screen closeness had extended off-screen.
Despite never confirming a relationship, the actors have been repeatedly linked by observant fans.
They have been spotted at the same holiday destinations and have often shared photos that appeared to come from similar settings, reinforcing speculation about their personal bond.
On the work front, Rashmika Mandanna is preparing for the release of Aditya Sarpotdar’s horror-comedy Thamma, alongside Ayushmann Khurrana.
The film, also starring Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Paresh Rawal, is scheduled to release on October 21, 2025.
Vijay Deverakonda was most recently seen in Gowtam Tinnanuri’s spy action-thriller Kingdom, which was released in 2025.
