Newlyweds Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone are all set for bright lights when they return home to India on November 18, 2018.
Ranveer and Deepika entered into wedlock on 14 and 15 November 2018. The happy couple did enjoy a two-day ceremony in the stunning Lake Como, Italy.
Close family and friends attended the Konkani and Sindhi ceremonies as per tradition.
Deepika’s father, former All England Badminton Champion Prakash Padukone and sister Anisha Padukone, a golfer, were naturally present for her wedding.
Parallel to the wedding festivities, preparations have been underway to welcome the star couple also known as DeepVeer.
Ranveer’s home in Mumbai has been decorated for the arrival of his wife Deepika.
The residence is illuminated by a display of lights, with white bulbs hanging from the tree branches. In what appears as an enchanting forest, white flowers and string lights adorn the entrance of the home.
The Indian press has also got access to videos of Ranveer’s house all lit up. Filmfare posting the video on Instagram, captioned it writing:
“Here’s what groom @ranveersingh’s Mumbai residence looks like all decorated for the newly wed couple to return to. #DeepVeerKiShaadi.”
Zoom TV also gave a video tour of Ranveer’s house on Instagram, saying: “Taking a tour to the groom @ranveersingh’s house!”
The magical display no doubt continues the momentous occasion for the couple on their return.
The wedding celebrations have not come to an end yet. Ranveer and Deepika will host two special wedding receptions.
Deepika’s hometown of Bengaluru will host the first reception. This will be held on November 21, 2018, 3 days after the couple return to India.
The wedding reception will reportedly take place at the ballroom of The Leela Palace Hotel.
Deepika’s close friends and extended family will be in attendance.
According to a report, this venue has been chosen by Deepika for a special reason. A source told an entertainment portal that this venue houses Deepika’s favourite Italian restaurant.
It seems that Deepika is a big fan of all things Italian, after getting married in Italy and choosing her reception venue with an Italian link. The source said:
“The biggest reason why Deepika chose to have the reception at The Leela, Bangalore was renowned Italian restaurant of New York, Le Cirque which goes by the name Le Cirque Signature.
“DP loves the restaurant in NYC and their franchise in Bengaluru drew Deepika to The Leela.”
“Her mother has also gone food tasting 2-3 times. The food will be pre-dominantly South-Indian though.
“They will check into the hotel on 20th and check out on 22nd.”
The second wedding reception will be hosted in Mumbai. This grand event will be attended by the who’s who of Bollywood.
Much like Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja, along with Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli, Ranveer and Deepika are also hosting a wedding reception to celebrate with their colleagues from the Bollywood film fraternity.
Earlier, Ranveer and Deepika sent out invitations for their wedding reception to take place at The Grand Hyatt in Mumbai on November 28, 2018.
The Mumbai reception is a week after the Bengaluru event, giving the couple time to enjoy marital bliss.
Ranveer and Deepika have apparently been looking for a perfect marital home to move into. A report by Bollywood Hungama states that the pair is looking at prime time properties in Mumbai.
In an untraditional move, the report expresses that Ranveer will move into Deepika’s Prabhadevi flat whilst they look for a home. The source states:
“Zeroing down on such an apartment isn’t an easy task and this will take some time.
“They don’t want to rush into choosing the property. They want to do it up completely before they move in.”
Well, it looks like Ranveer and Deepika have plenty to do upon their return to India, both personally and on a professional level.
