Rajkummar Rao and Patralekhaa have announced the birth of their first child, a baby girl.
The news was shared on November 15, through a social media post that revealed their daughter arrived on the couple’s fourth wedding anniversary.
The image shared carried a message that read:
“We are over the moon. God has blessed us with a baby girl.
“The greatest blessing God has given us on our 4th wedding anniversary.”
Within minutes, congratulatory messages from industry colleagues began to pour in.
Ali Fazal wrote: “Oh my god! So happy to hear this. Congratulations to you two beautiful people. Mubaarak.”
Farah Khan commented: “Yoooohooooo !! Best news! Im going to be the fun aunt.”
Neha Dhupia wrote: “Congratulations, you guys. Welcome to the best hood… parenthood.”
Sophie Choudry said: “Huge congratulations, you guys!! Much love to you and your princess! God bless.”
Sonam Kapoor, Ishita Raj, Malaika Arora and Kriti Sanon also dropped congratulatory messages.
The couple had shared their pregnancy news in July in a similar post.

Rajkummar and Patralekhaa married in 2021 after dating since 2010.
The announcement also drew reactions from actors who recently embraced parenthood themselves.
Vicky Kaushal, who recently welcomed a baby boy with Katrina Kaif wrote: “Congratulations guys!!! God bless.” He added heart emojis to his message.
Varun Dhawan commented: “Welcome to the club guys.”
Rajkummar Rao and Patralekhaa have often spoken about their long relationship.
In a recent appearance on Raunaq Rajani’s YouTube show, Rajkummar recalled firing a cook who had been disrespectful to Patralekhaa.
He said: “He made a great Mexican platter for me, and after two days, Patra told me, ‘Listen, this guy doesn’t talk nicely to me. I think there’s some issue’. And I could figure out.
“On the third day, when Patra asked him something, he made a face. But with me, he’d talk with a lot of respect. You know what I did? I called him and said, ‘Pack your bag and leave’.”
Rajkummar Rao is known for films such as Newton, Omerta, Stree and Stree 2.
He was last seen in Maalik.
Patralekhaa was last seen in Ananth Mahadevan’s Phule.
