Priyanka Chopra Jonas recently shared a very hopeful message regarding the ongoing global conflicts during Holi.
She used the occasion of Holika Dahan to express her sincere hope for the victory of good over evil.
Taking to her Instagram stories, the actress posted a very powerful image of a burning ritual bonfire.
Priyanka noted that the current state of the world feels quite heavy and difficult for many people to bear.
She penned: “There’s a lot unfolding around the world. It’s hard. It’s heavy. But light has a way of showing us the way.
“Here’s to the triumph of good over evil. #HolikaDahan.”
Fans around the world were moved by her words regarding the many global events that are currently happening.
Her husband, Nick Jonas, joined the festive Holi celebrations by sharing a nostalgic throwback photograph on his own profile.
The singer chose to revisit one of their earliest Holi memories together, which featured many vibrant and bright colours.
Tagging Priyanka in the post, Nick wrote: “A little throwback to one of my favourite Holi memories. Happy Holi everyone!”

Recently, the Bollywood star opened up about the profound emotional shift she felt during her grand wedding ceremony.
She described the experience as if she were walking into a completely new life with her partner.
Priyanka said: “It didn’t hit me when he put the ring on my finger, but when we walked hand in hand, I was like ‘Oh, things are shifting, this is different. I am choosing my family.’”
The actress fondly remembered how Nick performed the traditional Indian rituals perfectly, much to the joy of her family.
She mentioned that her aunties were very impressed when they heard him say the sacred word swaha during the fire.
“It was great. So we went back upstairs just to change and come back to lunch. He held my hand, and he said,
“‘I feel like we are on our third or fourth lifetime.’”
This specific comment from Nick left a very lasting impression on the actress during their special wedding celebrations.
She explained that walking around the holy fire seven times signifies a deep promise for seven entire lifetimes together.
Priyanka said: “I thought about it for a second and I asked, ‘Why did you say that?’
“He said, ‘Because it’s so familiar, it feels like home, but I want to experience so much of it together.’ I mean, how are you not gonna marry that man?”
On the professional front, the versatile actress was recently seen starring in the Hollywood film titled The Bluff.
Currently, she is busy shooting for the upcoming movie Varanasi, which is directed by the famous SS Rajamouli.
