"Just get off your clothes and sit in your lingerie."
Navina Bole has come forward with serious accusations of sexual harassment against filmmaker Sajid Khan.
The actress is best known for her role as Dr Monika in the long-running show Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah.
Navina recalled an incident between 2004 and 2006 that left a lasting impact on her.
The star claimed the encounter took place during her time as a contestant in the Gladrags competition.
She stated: “There is this terrible, terrible man who I would never want to meet in my life called Sajid Khan.”
According to Navina, she was initially thrilled when Sajid Khan contacted her.
However, her excitement quickly turned to confusion when she discovered the meeting would happen at his home rather than an office.
Navina claimed Sajid told her: “Just get off your clothes and sit in your lingerie. I need to see how comfortable you are in your body.”
She was shocked and deeply uncomfortable but tried to remain composed.
Sajid Khan then allegedly told her: “You performed in a bikini on stage, so what’s wrong with doing it here?”
She refused and explained that such a request was inappropriate, especially in a private setting.
Thankfully, Navina had someone waiting outside during the appointment, which gave her the confidence to leave.
Despite her clear refusal, Navina revealed that Sajid repeatedly called her, nearly 50 times.
He asked her where she was, urging her to come back. The actress avoided further contact with the director after that.
However, she claimed that about a year later, he tried to reach out again as if nothing had happened.
This is not the first time Sajid Khan’s name has surfaced in such allegations.
In the past, several women accused him of sexual harassment.
Among them were Saloni Chopra, Sherlyn Chopra, Aahana Kumra, and Mandana Karimi.
In total, nearly nine women from the industry accused him of inappropriate behaviour.
Navina Bole’s account adds another troubling chapter to these allegations, emphasising the continued challenges women face in the entertainment industry.
Her courage to speak out is being applauded by her fans and followers.
Sajid Khan is now facing backlash once again. He has yet to respond to these fresh allegations of sexual harassment.
